Food is fabulous. Peanut chicken dumplings are a must try.

Very delicious. Service can be a little surly. Great dining.

We usually love the food at Chon and like to try new dishes. Everything was excellent except for the octopus dish. The noisy table next to us this time made it very difficult to talk to our friends but we will always return.

This is such wonderful Thai food. Last night I went with a vegetarian friend and so for the first time I explored the vego options and it was a terrific meal as always!

The banquet was ok but not many meat dishes included.

For some reason the staff at the entrance to the restaurant couldn’t find our booking. Two other couples were shown to the tables who were behind us. It seemed as though they didn’t have an integrated list of diners who had booked online and those who booked directly with the restaurant. It wasn’t a positive way to be greeted. The food is always very good here but the service is often very amateur like.

First time at Chon Thai the staff were very attentive. Food was presented loved the smoked trout in betel leaves, rest of our meal was delicious. Would definitely go back to Chon Thai.

Such amazing food, always a great evening. You must go.. have several of the bites. My favorite 2 are the trout betel leaves and twice cooked pork steamed buns no words can explain how tasty!

One of the best thai restaurants in Sydney. Only work needed is the service.

Food was reasonable but hated being seated next to a table of 1 parent & 2 very young children. We asked to move to another table for 2 further away (the restaurant was quite empty as it was only 6.30pm) but were told that table was reserved - it was still empty when we finished our meal an hour & 15 minutes later & left. Not what I call good service. We won't be coming back.

Great atmosphere. Not too noisy but great vibe. Then there’s the food. It was amazing. Not the average Aussie Thai that has got the cuisine a bad name. The food has a wonderful depth of flavour and the balance of flavours, plus it’s innovative.

CHON Thai is our favourite local.Food is consistently fabulous and the service spot on.Can get a bit noisy if there are big groups but no worse than anywhere else.Highly recommend a visit.

We have had the pleasure of eating at Chon on a number of occasions. However last Saturday was one of the best meals we have had at Chon. Every dish was very good and we all had an excellent evening.

Always enjoy the food here including the banquet we had tonight. Great service too.
