my friends recommended chon thai, so glad I managed to get a table as it is every bit as good as the feedback I had heard! I was sat by the chimney breast on the ground floor though which was very cold, try to avoid that table. The chicken dumpling starter is divine as was the stir-fry wagyu red curry and the soft shell crab salad. Everything is beautifully presented and tastes as good as it looks YUM

This restaurant is above your standard level and offers food that has a higher level of skill and attention placed on its menu. The quality shows and despite charging slightly more per dish than your average Thai, I think the prices are very reasonable. The Fish Cakes ( homemade) are amongst the best I have had both here and in Thailand and was a great indicator of the great food to come in main course. Highly recommend it.

I can't believe I've waited so long to try Chon. The food was incredible. The downstairs room is beautifully laid out, though it can be quite noisy if there are groups of people there (which was for our table of three, making it a little hard to hear). We ate spectacularly and the price wasn't bad. I love how it is BYO as well. My family and I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely delicious taste sensations! We ordered 5 entrees and two sharing dishes, it was all sensational, especially the pork belly buns and the pea flower dumplings were not only tasty but a work of art. We loved it and it was under $40 a head! What’s not to love!
