Bit long wait for the dishes to come and average flavor considering it’s super pricy

I dined with my wife and a male friend. We were most courteously looked after by the wait staff, and the food was first class - delicious and innovative.

Menu has no prices on it. Some dishes turned out very expensive.

Always love our food experience at Chois - vegetarian spring rolls, Peking Duck, sweet & sour pork, perfect steak with pepper sauce, crispy chicken, fried rice, banana fritter and ice-cream. All dishes as per usual very delicious and enjoyable. Service great as always. Highly recommended for top end experience.

Food and service is always top notch! It’s like being welcomed home. We love Choi’s and it’s where we go to celebrate as a family.

Service was not as good as expected. We have been here quite a few times. They were very busy, but that should not be an excuse.

Great service, as usual. Loved the food. It was noisy, but it is Christmas and the restaurant was very busy. We had a big table next to us, so difficult to keep noise level down. Very attentive staff. Thank you.

The food needs to come out together or the rice dish first. Chois again bought out the main meals and then there was a 7 minute wait for the rice. I really can't eat black bean chicken on its own.

Back to its best. The food is amazing service divine.

Choi’s in Hawthorn offers a fantastic culinary experience with an impressive variety of flavorful Chinese dishes. The food is nothing short of amazing, showcasing authentic tastes and a diverse menu that caters to many preferences. However, the dining experience is let down by the service, which leaves much to be desired. It’s clear why many patrons choose takeaway instead of dining in, despite the restaurant’s charming decor that could otherwise enhance the atmosphere. Overall, while I highly recommend taking away the delicious food, the in-house dining experience might not live up to expectations due to the subpar service.

I have been several times in the past few years and was happily surprised to see nothing had changed. Service was excellent, food was delicious and an excellent selection of wines available. Servings size was on the very small side , service and Quality of food was very good, All Four of us left hungry after paying $508.00, will not be my first choice next time, After being Recommended Highly, Been to better places..!!

My previous visit there were a number of items identified as gluten free. I was disappointed that the new menu did not have this feature any longer.

I have been going here for over 20 years for my birthday and it has changed a lot! unfortunately, the food is going way up in price and the portions are getting way too small for the value, even my 20-year-old son noticed how small the serving was and commented on the night.

Consistency always at Chois. A favourite for 40yrs. Keep doing what you do so well. Food delicious, tasteful decor and staff attentive.
