Again enjoyed the food and service it was a busy night was a little loud but it was busy night. This restaurant is becoming a regular for me and my family and friends.

We introduced our friends to Just Italy in Oakleigh on our second visit to this restaurant and were not disappointed. The food and service is fantastic! Look forward to having another wonderful evening there.

At 5 p.m. on Sundays it was not too busy. We could hear each other at the table, the service was just right - not being neglected but not being too intrusive either. Lovely quick and tasty family dinner.

The staff were so friendly and lovely to talk to. The food was very high quality. Tasty, home made and absolutely delicious. It was the first time we have attended and it definitely won't be our last time. We will be going back again and again. If you like Italian food, this restaurant is the place to go. I am so looking forward to going back.

Very happy with the foods, good customer service and atmosphere.

Got sat next to the fridge which was not a great start. Table was too big for the small corner it was in. The drinks were nice, the bellini was really good. Food took a long time to come, it looked like they were doing too many takeaway orders for the kitchen staff to handle the in-house guests' orders. Pizza was a bit too burnt in spots, with way too much gorgonzola overpowering the fig and other flavours. Caprese salad was nice but the tomato was bizarrely hard and solid - bizzare because in caprese it's always paired with mozzarella, a soft cheese. Their handmade spaghetti was delicious and had a great consistency, and the amatriciana sauce was lovely in its balance of flavours and ingredients. Unfortunately something that did overshadow the dining experience was the younger male waiter swooping in lile a hawk the minute we had finished a dish. This was despite the fact that he failed to clear away other things such as the sauces we had been given for the pizza, despite having long finished the pizza by the time the next dishes arrived. If I sound like I'm nitpicking it's just because I had high expectations from all the positive reviews this restaurant has already received. That and having worked in the industry, it was sad to see a few very obvious things that could be fixed/given attention but have clearly been forgotten in their initial success in the first year of business. I wish the staff all the best and hope to come back again one day...perhaps in a year or two.

Booked this table online a week in advance for Valentines Day, only to arrive and be seated at the bar and told that there would be a set menu for the evening. This was not indicated on the restaurant website or booking portal. Only after more than 30 minutes and much insistence were we moved to an actual table. The food service was incredibly slow because they were busy and short staffed, so we did not end up eating until close to an hour after arriving. Not initially, but in the end, the staff were apologetic and did not charge us for our drinks. The food itself was good, but not worth the wait. The set menu was not very inspiring unfortunately. I have been to another Just Italy restaurant before and it was a much better experience. I would not go here again for a special occasion but will definitely return to the smaller restaurant.
