had dinner here for my partner's birthday. I don't eat a lot of meat but everyone else really enjoyed it

Waitress mixed order. Additionally didn't know anything about the menu. Never returned. So didnt ask how meal was or offer dessert menu or coffee menu and never offered another drink after the first. Dreamboat on her first shift I suspect and her last. No approach.....Not suited to the industry. Poor hire choice Carne Grill. We were regular patrons. You were our go to.

We had a group of 8 and it was great value and a great atmosphere

Took a long time for our orders to arrive and one order was incorrect. We decided not to wait for the right order to be cooked for fear of waiting another hour or more. The steak had a lot of gristle and it was overpriced for the quality and the service

Steak, duck and fondant were marvellous. Getting some drinks we wanted was not easy due to unavailability.

We came for our naniversary. Food was amazing, great service! Will definitely come back!

This was my Husband's and my first visit to Carne Grill and we thought it was great, the food was wonderful and we had a lovely time. The service was great as soon as we sat down the waiter bought a bottle of water and glasses to the table, the waiter who looked after us was very attentive and did a great job, we ordered drinks, entree and mains which all came out in reasonable time. Our waiter checked with us throughout our meal to make sure everything was alright. Very happy with the service and our meals. Even though the restaurant is on Maroondah highway its far enough back that the traffic is not a problem and they have planted lots of trees which is a lovely outlook, there is also plenty of parking. There was only one downside a big group came in a little while later and one of the men who would have been around 40 thought it was okay to be using bad language, which is not the Restaurant fault.

Nice place big tables freindly staff ,fantastic food , bit pricey for house wine but overall a very enjoyable experience, had the carnivor platter between 5 of us with a share board of three starters and was a feast for us . Definitely recommend.

Fantastic, the wine prices were a little over but I guess that is usual now.

Nice but not worth the price compared to others in the same space.

We had a shared platter it was ok. We didn't enjoy the pork as the crackling was not crisp. Food went cold quickly and the side order of chips wasn't the best. Desserts were over way overpriced the black forest dessert literally looked like poo and it was served on a wooden board just was not appealing to the eye. We will try again but not order the shared platter. Service was good.

Staff were friendly, the food was delicious an the atmosphere was great.

The people working there were extremely welcoming and accommodating. I booked the place for 8 people and I am a vegan which quite a big ask going to a meat place. the stuff were very helpful and went out of their way to cook something for me. Everyone else had a great time

Not impressed this time, the steak was all good but chips were not fantastic.

Overall lovely experience our mains weren’t exactly what we were expecting. A little on the dry side. But overall lovely atmosphere and service.

We got the $49 ribs and a bottle of wine ! It was so delicious !! amazing service ! Didn’t have to wait long for food either which was good for a change !!

The food was taking a bit long (an hour from ordering) so we asked how long it would be. The Chef lost it loud enough for the restaurant to hear. We then mentioned this to the floor manager who then decided thrilling the Chef off over the pass in fulll visability of the entire restaurant was the way to go. Apparently the restaurant manager had been informed but he didn’t even come to apologise. The food was fine in the end but what a very unprofessional display and they didn’t even offer to remove the kids (very late meals) Unprofessional on a quiet night

Loved the restaurant from stepping in. The ambience the staff attention the menu range and drink selection. The meals were perfect, beautifully presented taste sensations.

Food was excellent and sevice was good. Would recommend the plate for four people. Add a couple of sides and that is plenty enough for everyone. Outside is a great place for pre drinks with plenty of tables. Highly recommended.

This is a fine dining restaurant, so it's on the pricier side for the area but my god was it worth the money. Best Wagyu and barramundi we have ever had.

What a pleasant surprise. Pumping, busy and friendly service. We redeemed a Scoopon Voucher. More than enough food, great value and great choice. Could even take home our leftovers!

Service was dissapointing, werent asked for second round of drinks or if we would like dessert,coffee or if everything was alright. A sad decline since the last experience.

Waited ages for food, my $45 eye fillet & husbands $45 wagyu steak came to the table cut up into three (perhaps suggesting that they were unsure whether it was cooked or not?) with a tiny pot of sauce. Dessert was delicious

good food and service. It was a pleasant night. Steak cooked to perfection, fish was done very well too. The steak sauces were a bit of let down though.

We visited on a Thursday night, and will definitely be going back. The best steak I have had in many years, now my go too place for steak. Staff and chef very understanding and considerate of my husbands dietary needs. Only place in town that truly understands Gluten Free and Lactose Free with wait staff asking excellent questions. It was a wonderful birthday dinner. Thank you.
