Lovely meal, I was very full when we left. Shared the saganaki prawns, for entree. Hubby had pork belly and I had the chicken parmigiana both delicious

We were seated under a speaker was a little hard to hear each other but overall great.

When we arrived and were seated, it took nearly 5 - 10 mins of us sitting before we had to flag down a waiter and ask for a menu. When ordering, our male waiter was very polite, but very quiet. We had to ask him to repeat himself several times. Dinner was brought out within 10 - 15 mins, so it was quick. The food itself was good, and we had it adjusted slightly to suit our tastes which they accommodated. I asked the female waitress if I could please have some parmesan and chilli oil, she brought it to me without a spoon. She also just seemed very clueless the whole night. I don't know if she was new? But she looked really lost and seemed like she could have used someone to be watching over her and making sure she was ok. We ordered dessert, but the brownie was not on the menu that night. All good, we ordered the nutella calzone sans ricotta. The male waiter said they would add nutella to where the ricotta would have been to accommodate us. The calzone was truly bad. It was try, hard to chew, no additional nutella and the slices of strawberry were paper thin. We didn't even bother to finish it. The other thing that really dampened the mood of the evening was how cold it was. At first we thought it was a draught (and the waiter kindly closed the back door for us) but then realised it was the giant air conditioning vents blasting very cold, strong air onto us our whole dinner to the point my pants were blowing in the wind. It was also very cold outside, so I don't know why they did this. For the price point,t he atmosphere, service, and the quality of the dessert did not justify us returning.

Fantastic as always, just had noisy swesring patrons next to us. Not the establishments fault some people are the equivalent of human cockroaches.

You are a little restaurant in Botany maybe consider your demographic and clientele. Used to be our family favourite. We left without eating and will not be back.

food was good, we did feel forgotten and I had to get up a few times to find my waiter. The restaurant was not busy at all.

The food is absolutely top notch. We ordered the arancini, carbonara spaghetti and buffalina pizza. Everything was cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. The service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely dine here again if I’m in the area. Such fine Italian food in a cosy, unassuming place.

What a gem of a restaurant. We were a party of 10 for lunch. We had a quiet room to ourselves, service was excellent and the food was delicious.

Lovely night at Capanno, warm, cosy and lovely staff. Food is good and generous portions. And it caters for the Coeliac. Great for family get togethers.

Pizza very good, salmon a little overdone and too salty. Front of restaurant not as ambient as the rear section looked.

Great steak and good service with a wonderful warm atmosphere

Food was average. Restaurant was cold. Someone was smoking outside and the smell of smoke came in while we were eating. Then to top it off, a member of staff, then sat at the bar and burped loudly. Unpleasant.

Food was great. The waiter we had was below average and totally disengaged. He also schooled me in the ordering process when I ordered our desserts with our main meal, as we already new what we wanted because we had eaten there recently. He also would not make any eye contact when he passed our table even when I was trying to get his attention. We were the only people in the restaurant at this time by the way. The waitress the week before was amazing, so I was really surprised and disappointed. However, the food and wine made up for the experience.
