I often go to calico for work lunch. Really nice Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. The guys are great characters and always make us feel very welcome.

The starters are surprisingly expensive but honestly the best part of the meal. Everything else feels perfectly suited to the current market and nearby options. At the end of the day I keep returning so they are obviously doing a good job.

Great find with a huge and varied menu perfect for pleasing the meat eaters and vegetarians in our party. Loved the Mediterranean and spice-filled vibe of all the dishes and the puffed pizza-bread was amazing! Had it with the delicious pumpkin hummus & burrata- both finished with very unusual ingredients and spices to make them different from the usual. My friend had the prawn entree and said they were the best they’d ever had, and my husband had the osso buco which smelled heavenly of cinnamon & served of a bed of peas. Everything so different and delicious, and very handy to our show at The Grand Electric that night. Don’t miss trying out this great place!

Food was excellent, ambience of restaurant was great, service not so great, we weren’t offered dessert menu and plates from entrees were not taken away when mains were served, one guest was served main without knife or fork which luckily the other guests kept from their entrees

Always an amazing experience here. There menu always astounds us as they balance favourites and new additions. Paul and Anna are a friendly and accommodating hosts in this restaurant and always make excellent suggestions and highlight the new additions. If you love wood fire pizza and contemporary favourites, eat here for great food, excellent atmosphere and reasonable prices.

The mozzarella pizza was nice (I’ve had the previous version which was much tastier imo), their pizza dough is sooo good! The lamb was good. The service was amazing, everyone is super nice and welcoming! The cocktails are delish.
