Amazing food, we always order too much but have some nice left-overs for the next day. Never had a bad meal. We love this place!

We decided that Forest Hill was a great spot for friends from Toowoomba and Brisbane to catch up. What a delightful atmosphere in your small town centre. Your cafe/shop was full of interest and an invitation to browse. We had some mix up with servings but it was all handled well. Just a couple of things for genuine feedback. The music was a touch too loud inside, but pitched to the right age group! A little extra hot water on the tea tray would have been great. My friend ordered the strip loin baguette. The steak was far too thick, pretty rare and honestly not suitable for a baguette style lunch. Much too cumbersome in a sandwich. We would love to come back and try some of the other treats on offer. The food was ok but quite salty - the staff were very accommodating however adding to a four table so the six of us could sit comfortably (after an initial mix up) - we’d probably go back - the home made chips were good!

Both breakfast meals were great. The wife loved the eggs bene, the hollandaise was made in house which is always a winner. We’ll be back, as the were a few different menu items I’d like to try. The coffee was pretty good too.

I cannot recommend this cafe enough. It's a cafe with restaurant quality food. The chef and waitress where absolutely lovely people who you just want to sit and eat with. We were seated in a little courtyard that was covered with a grapevine which gave a 'little italy' homey feel. We attended for Tapas and wine, which was very reasonable in priced. The food was tops and was lovely to hear where the chef has worked around the world. Do youself a favour and stop in for breakky, lunch or dinner.

My go to venue for a special occasion. Fabulous food and great service. Hidden gem in the valley.

Finally for foodies like us to find a World Class Chef is amazing. Cafe 4342 - a true Hidden Gem.

Food was great.. Tasty and good size.. One lady had food allergies / the process of re- ordering her something agreeable for her was a bit uncomfortable - Astor next thing she wanted wasn’t quite right., It was uncomfortable for her and us and needed to be done with by finding out faster what would be suitable with more joy. It got a little strained and drawn out., Great meal selection cute cafe! Thanks girls .. will be back!
