We just love Bombay By Night! The food is always excellent, with top quality meat and delicious sauces. It is our "go-to' restaurant in SE Melbourne. The service is great too. Quiet and understated but always efficient and friendly.

Food was ok though portions small. Naan bread was amazing. Service was slow and waited nearly one hour for our mains to be served. Staff seemed unhappy. Expensive for what we got but we left full and satusfied.

First time ever and I can't express in words how great it was. Excellent service, food and overall atmosphere. Thankyou to all for making me and my partner feel welcome.

Waiters tonight we’re off the mark from the start tonight and it didn’t get any better. On the opposite side the food was great (as usual).

I really like this place - parts of the menu could do with a tweak - the beef offerings in particular and the fish was good without being great - but overall the quality and value are pretty good and I will return again.

Excellent food and service but very noisy due to over crowding. Tables too closely so E some people had problems trying to sit at the table. Needs to be larger or cater for less people.

Excellent food and value, but service was much too slow. We were seated a long time before being offered menus - which I had to ask for. Then they gave us 3 menus to share amongst 10 people. I asked for more menus, and the drinks menu wasn’t offered until a further request. We had to ask more than once for water before it was brought. We also had to ask repeatedly for a drink that was ordered before it finally arrived. Our meals took far too long to come out - over an hour and a half. It seems some of the waiting staff was very inexperienced or not up to the standard that such a high quality restaurant deserves.

Bombay by Night is the venue of our annual pre-Christmas dinner. This year 11 of us enjoyed the wonderful food, friendly service and great ambiance that brings us back. It may be a smaller restaurant and parking can be problematic at peak times, however eating at this wonferful restaurant is worthy of anyone's custom.

Overall, great dining experience! Food is always amazing! Highly recommend.

Wonderful local Indian Restaurant - very popular with the Caulfield locals. We go there regularly. We particularly enjoy the vegetarian and the specials. Wine by the glass is a good price.

I've been visiting Bombay by Night every year or so for the past 25 years. One of very few places in Melbourne that has not changed, quality and service have always been top notch, I always leave thinking of what I will have next time, my favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne.

Excellent service, great food and reasonable prices, combined with a relaxed ambience, goes to make for an enjoyable dining experience. We will certainly be returning to Bombay By Night.
