Third time we’ve eaten at Chez Nous and we’ll be back, we live in Mt Eliza. Would like to see a bit more choice on menu as soon we’ll start repeating courses.

This is a lovely, small restaurant that keeps it simple, but does it well. On possibly our 5th or 6th visit, the food was again of good standard, the service was pleasant and the ambience ‘just right’ for a local restaurant with a touch of Paris about it. It could possibly benefit from 1 extra entree and main course to choose from, but all the dishes we ordered (4 of us) were well cooked and nicely presented. The BYO facility is a bonus and a range of glassware is available. We will return without hesitation 😊

We did not get the table we booked, a month in advance! Disappointed there was no special atmosphere for Valentines Day. It was much better last year! We had a candle on table and chocolates plus, a glass of champagne,

The cheese tart, steak and desserts were fantastic and the wine list was well chosen.

Over and above my expectations for my 50th birthday! Wait staff were friendly and accommodating, food was amazing and excellent value for money and the cafè itself had the most beautiful French and Parisian vibe. Highly recommended 👌

A truly exceptional night. As interstate visitors we envy Melbournians their access to this amazingly good food, excellent service, and authentically French feel. Best duck a la orange I've eaten for years. Worth coming interstate for!

my allergies were dealt with very thoughtfully by the lovely waitrons. The other diners were very loud but it was their Christmas party - maybe we should have been warned! The food was outstanding

Booking online for a reservation was very straightforward. The restaurant provides an intimate dining experience and is an asset for the local community. The food is exceptional and the wine list is adequate. The service was really good, focused but not intrusive. Noise levels were low and conducive to being able to communicate with my dining partner. Bistro Chez Nous is thoroughly recommended for a great dining experience.

From the time we walked in, the overall experience along with the food was excellent. The two young people who served our table were adept at offering an outstanding level of service and the food was simply superb. We will be back for more.

Good all round. Staff and kitchen coped admirably with three large groups - which can't have been easy. Regrettably three large groups meant a lot of noise to which our table would have contributed. But everyone enjoyed themselves and food was great, especially the French Onion Soup (again!)
