Bistro 32

Waited 1 hour for the entree then another hour for the main. Didn't order dessert for fear of waiting another hour. My wife asked for the bill and they put it in front of me!! A party of 4 walked out before their main meal. They were not happy. That left 8 diners including us. Bad experience.

The food was delicious, we enjoyed it all. Staff were lovely and chef came to each table to chat which was special.

Four of us went with high expectations and unfortunately they weren’t meet. Meals could have been hotter, average wine list having tried 3 different reds and over priced for what we had.

We had to wait over an hour to get entrée, in that time we had to repetitively for the bread we ordered and nobody asked if we would like a drink while we waited for entree. Main arrived soon after entrée and they cleared the main away while 2 people were still eating it. . Food was nice but having to constantly ask for the ordered side dishes that arrived cold was disappointing. Very poor customer service. They were busy but at other restaurants they would offer you a drink or bread while you waited. Not at Bistro 32. All in all a very disappointing experience.

The food was stunning but very slow service…cheese soufflé delicious

staff seemed very confused. Meals were taken to the wrong tables, couple near us waited over an hour for their food then it was cooked wrong. We waited 30 minutes for a beer, the waitress said she was under age to serve. 1 guy who looked like a cook just casually strolled around the restaurant seeming to be doing nothing.

Great service, ambience, exquisite food cooked to perfection. Impressed by the duck was perfectly cooked, not dry. Desserts were delectable! Waitresses were so attentive and lovely! We will be back soon.

The wait staff were really lovely and helpful but the overall service was lacking. The restaurant was booked out and we were sitting in a corner so when the staff scanned the room our table was often overlooked. We did have a pleasant time there, though.

Disappointed had the fish but it was so dry I had trouble cutting it with my knife. Service was terrible and won’t be going back again.

Will never return to Bistro 32. We arrived on time, shown to our table and a bottle of water was literally "plonked" on the table. No conversation at all. We were sitting there for 15 minutes with not one person coming to serve us. It was 6pm with only 2 other tables full at the time. We walked out.

Excellent food. Service was average to poor. Inattentive wait staff and too transactional interaction.

The food was lovely although the experience was a tad clunky, served the wrong beer (which isn’t even on the menu), called mate by the owner, no offer of salt or pepper, drinks service was slow, amongst a couple of other issues. The food and staff are amazing as always, the best

A very classical French-style restaurant serving close to fine dining dishes. A really pleasant restaurant for friends or family or indeed for that business dinner. Professional yet personal as well. Loved it.

Bistro 32 is one of our favourite restaurants for all the right reasons. It’s local, excellent menu choices, doesn’t matter what your order….the food is amazing, staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Plus value for money 🤩

The food and service at Bistro 32 are always excellent. Chris and Maryanne are true professionals and run a lovely, welcoming true French-style bistro.

A couple of noisy groups and wrong meals delivered was a sour note on an usually great place to dine. Difficult to manage on a busy Saturday night.

Limited vegetarian for my wife after letting them know when booking. My meal was very good.

Food was delicious and service very good but the noise level was so loud that it made conversation with dining companion very difficult. I will try mid week next time.
