Big Poppa's

The food was fresh and delicious, and the waiter had great knowledge of the wines on the menu and helped pair wines with our meal. The tables were quite close together but we were seated upstairs so the space is quite small. The portions are small so you will need to order a few plates to share between two people. That being said, I will definitely go back because the food and wine are so good.

Absolutely love Big Poppas, so great for a big group, or a nice quiet romantic dinner. Will come back here time and time again!

It was cool and cozy, they also offer a nice craft beer menu.

My second visit to this restaurant left me feeling somewhat disappointed. Positives: The food and service was lovely and the lighting created great atmos. However, the food was overpriced. Keeping in mind Sydney is emerging from Covid-19 restrictions, but the hole in the male bathroom and a power drill still lodged into the opposite wall made my date raise his eyebrows. I also don’t quite understand what kind vibe the place is going for.

Visited for dinner with my partner last night and we were not disappointed.... Everything about our evening here was beautiful. We were seated at the bar and the bar man was so attentive, filling our water glasses and helping us decide what to eat! We ordered 5 share plates between us and rolled out the door- the carne cruda was a blinder and the chef's cheese plate was stunning. We will 100% be back, amazing spot for an amazing date night 😊

Amazing food and great drinks list. A 2 hour sitting as opposed to 1 hr 45 would have given us just that little bit extra time to finish the last drop of wine but understand that the tables need to be turned around for the next sitting :)

Food - excellent. The Crudo (tuna) was incredible. Our mains were both very good too. Service however was pathetic - plates collected, empty drinks at the time, no offer of another drink or dessert. Waited at least half an hour with no one coming near us so went and got menu ourselves and then had to wave someone over who was standing behind the bar chatting, who could not have seemed less impressed about having to take our order. After dinner we went to their bar downstairs, bar staff were useless and letting their friends skip the line. Will avoid in the future.
