We hadn’t tried Batavia Corner Indonesian restaurant before. The service, food and decor was great! Excellent taste and prices very good. We had Nasi Goreng Tek Tek, Lamb Curry and a combination rice with chicken curry and beef rendang. Delicious! Will come back again and try other dishes too!!

This is our 2nd visit. We tried different dishes this time. The serving of rice was generous, but the serving of meat and veg are on the small side, so it's a bit pricey for the food. I suggest to the business owner that tap water and tissues should be free flow because currently this restaurant that don't provide tap water and the tissues/serviettes are TIGHTLY CONTROLLED! Many customers are upset that tap water was not provided when I googled the review of this restaurant.

The lady at the counter is a superwoman and she is super busy, she is handling all the orders, and delivery of food to the takeaway and dine-in customers all by herself. She is also very patient and friendly when she explains the Indonesian menu to us. The food took a while to be served as there's only one staff at the shop front. Food is beautiful though. Restaurant is clean and tidy, will visit again.

Charming home cooked food. Friendly service. Food arrived fast. I really don’t like when restaurants play regular radio for background music. The first five minutes as soon as we sat down, I had to listen to originating radio DJs and radio ads. It cheapens the place. They are better off just playing a neutral, soft music CD in the background and leave it on repeat. Even some soft traditional Indonesian music is better than listening to midday radio ads. It ruins the experience and atmosphere.

Food serving was huge but a bit too spicy for me. Fried chicken was hard and dry, otherwise the food was tasty. Ambience quite cosy and relaxed.

Nasi Kuning Komplit is generous portion. However the fried chicken size is inconsistent as one plate is smaller than the other. Nasi Goreng jawa is unique with rice and noodles fried together.

Authentic indonesian food. Have you tried their bakso goreng a nice chewy cripsy texture. Made fresh on premise. I must say, ive been lucky the past few times ive been. Just because ive heard they sell out quiet often. And their ikan sambal hijau to die for. If your a fan of fish and chilli this is a definite must order. My partner doesn't usually eat fish but this has changed he pov. The crispyness on the outside and the soft fluffy flesh in the inside with the right amount of sauce. We also ordered their ox tail soup. I was a be skeptical about it at first... not really a person to try ox tail but definitely a nice winter warmer, subtle flavours but not too rich i would order this again! My partner chose a traditional chicken curry a nice hit to it. Truly authentic curry. Such a nice local place not far from home and inexpensive. I think ive found my new go to place. Can't wait to try other food on the menu. Thanks batavia 😁
