Great waitress called Paris. She was attentive but relaxed and made us feel looked after. Pasta Gamberi was wonderful. Buffala pizza was ok
The service was slow, and I think we only got our entree when I saw it being delivered to the next table who had been seated about 20 minutes after us. It was a good thing I checked the bill as I thought the price excessive and found we had been overcharged by $50 for a coffee. Fortunately that cost was fully refunded.
Main meals were great, good size and very tasty. Just thought the entree for the bruschetta bread was a little expensive especially as the bread pieces overlapped and there was only about 1/3 of the toppings on one of the bread pieces.
Food was bland, service was literally non existent - give it a miss.
Understaffed, forgot our dinner order and waited over an hour for the food to come out without an apology. Empty drink glasses piled up on the small table and we had to ask for them to be taken away. Disappointing.
Only advised once at the restaurant that it was a set menu for new years. What we wanted to try in the menu was not available. No prior warning, other diners also unaware and abandoned their booking. Set menu was not worth the price.
Absolutely disgusted in our experience at Bassk for NY's. Made a booking online no issues, got seated at the restaurant. No menu's were given and we were left waiting for 15 minutes before we had to ask for a menu. They handed us 1 x menu for 2 people and it was a menu for their banquet. There was no mention on their website or when making the booking that it would be a set menu $88 pp. When trying to book other restaurants it came up that it was a set menu and we were alerted. I called the waiter over and asked her what the go was as there was no mentioned of this on their website when booking and if we had of known we would not have come. The waitress did not care and I asked if she could get the manager, she continued serving tables and then another waitress came over to take our order when I asked her again about the situation she also didn't seem to care pointed to her manager and told me I would need to speak to him. I asked if she could please go get him and she went over spoke to him and then they both continued to ignore our table. After this experience the last thing we wanted to do was spend any money at this terrible restaurant so we walked out. Never again will I be coming back here, it's a shame because it's in the perfect spot but obviously terribly managed and lack of customer service.
Was disappointed that it was a set menu and for the price of $88 dollar per person not much to choose from especially main menu of pasta and pizza
Great food, amazing vibes and amazing stuff. Everything was really good and tastefull
The food was great the pasta and pizza was enjoyed by all. The cocktail jugs went down well and were well priced. Serving team were helpful and attentive. Overall a great night
Service was slow. Paid $34 for my meal which had a whole 6 cubes of meat in it the size of a dice and it was extremely salty. Wouldn't recommend it to anybody. There was only us and one other table of people in the restaurant so I guess that says enough on how average it is
Best garlic bread pizza ever. Also the Lamb Ragu papardelle was awesome.
Very noisy and not the type of environment we like to dine in and we rushed our meal so we could get out of the noise.
