Perfect venue for pre-theatre dinner. Attentive and friendly service, generous portions and a lovely warm ambience. Carpeted restaurant so it was not noisy even though the restaurant was full. We shared a number of dishes which were all delicious. Would like to come back for a longer dinner experience.

Loved revisiting Bamboo House as this was our 'special' restaurant when we were going out. So good to revist years later and will certainly go back and won't wait years for our next meal. Only down side was that my husbands main meal came out about 5 minutes after mine.

The restaurant food was catered fmmore for Westerners taste buds. The recommended fried fish was dry and not tasty. The vegetables and friend noodles were very oily. Service was excellent, but food is below mediocre for typical Hong Kong restaurant.

The dinner and service at Bamboo House were exceptional. Wait staff was attentive and made good recommendations. The Tasman oysters and dim sum were a delicious way to start. Peking duck was excellent, and nearly every table around us was enjoying it as well. Mongolian style lamb was a highlight. We highly recommend and would come back.

Wonderful food with a beautiful venue. Service was a bit slow at the beginning, but once started, the timing was perfect.

Had a very good experience as we have had on previous ocassions. The first entree of sichuan calamari was tough but all other courses were delicious. I do not appreciate being asked if I want to leave a tip when paying on card. However, I WILL leave a tip when I have enjoyed exceptional service.

5 stars, as it has been since I was a child. The flavour, presentation and service are as blissful as we remember. Always perfection. Staff were attentive and helpful. Our first time bringing our children along so that marks 3 generations of appreciation in our family. Thank you Bamboo House. Until next time, we will be dreaming of spring onion pancakes, san choi bao, peking duck (our favourite) and of course the succulent Cantonese beef!

This is the second time we went to Bamboo house. The food was just ok and some staffs were not very friendly. The overall experience is quite fair. So, we may try some other restaurant.
