Best of the best always superb fantastic restaurant highly recommended

The food is always consistently great at Bamboo House so I'm never disappointed. However, my only minor grumble would be the fact that the chef didn't carve the duck in front of us & it was pre-cut into pieces. Other than that, the peking duck was still sensational - juicy flesh, flavoursome crispy skin with proper handmade pancakes (that were not thin crepes).

Service and food were top notch. Everyone had an enjoyable night though it was a little noisy from other tables - still alright. its a bit pricey but you get what you pay.

IT WAS V NOISY AND BUSY WHICH WAS OK. WE PURCHASED A BOTTLE OF WINE WHICH WAS NOT FINISHED AND THE STAFF FORGOT TO GIVE IT TO US

Delicious fresh flavoursome food. Quick service. We loved it all.

All was great except that the scallops were lacking the natural taste.

I highly recommend Bamboo House. The food is great as well as the service.

Our food was delicious and the restaurant itself was lovely - white table cloths and great staff. Best salt and pepper prawns we’ve ever eaten.

Great Peking duck but service was unfriendly and overall not value for money

Food was great. The service was efficient especially when it was a full house. The Peking duck and lemon chicken was the best features of the night. Bamboo house is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Melbourne followed after Flower Drum.

impeccable service and excellent food. we almost always order one of the banquet menus which is very generous with the number of dishes.

Went for the Peking duck and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious. We hade several entree dishes, fried rice and a whole Peking duck which for just two people was way too much food. A half order of duck would have been enough but it was so good. Definitely be returning.
