Good value and service,. It is flexible, we changed our booking last minute, staff are very good to accommodate us. The salted egg pork rib is a must try
very delicious authentic food, good value for family dinning :)
Super tasty food - never fails to satisfy everyone we bring here
the restaurant had really yummy food and the waiters were really friendly and helpful. would definitely be back again. highly recommend this venue to anyone
Good Malaysian food with authentic flavours and attentive service. Generous and familiar menu offer. Generally well patronised with a comfortable and casual atmosphere that suits single dining or in a group.
We had a good experience at Ayam Chef. The laksa broth was good but the ingredients were very little - just filled with fu chok - could have a few more pieces of shredded chicken.
Customer service was on point. Food was authentic and delicious. Washrooms were very clean (: We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back to try other dishes!
Yee sang for Chinese New Year was tasty and a great addition to our dinner.
The sizzling tofu has now become a regular dish for us. Delicious!
The menu interest me a lot as these are all dishes you can get in Malaysia. However the food came with a bit too much of MSG for my liking. If the taste could be maintained with the reduction of MSG that would be fantastic.
Great food as usual. Highly recommend the sizzling tofu and the san low fried noodles. Coconut rice also adds a little something extra instead of the usual steamed rice
Great Malaysian dishes to share between all of us for dinner
Great food, lovely staff and a diverse menu. Always a good meal at Ayam Chef. Not a quiet place, but that’s because it gets quite busy, which is a good indicator of customer satisfaction.
Deco excellent, curry barramundi very nice, one of the entre lobak disappointing, veg too much garlic. On the whole ok. Will try again soon and try other dishes.
Excellent food and service. Most reasonable prices. Consistently good and one of my local favourites. Can recommend to anyone. Easy parking a bonus. Very good!!
The food and service was lovely, although on the sweet side, especially the Cantonese beef. A surprise favourite was the steamed lettuce in oyster sauce and the fresh chilli had great flavour. I didn't choose to eat any dessert but the others did and said they were a real let down so that's the only real negative.
Coco pork was really nice. Sambal veges just right. All dishes were good sized and served quickly, though there wasn't much of a crowd. Service was attentive. Will definitely go again when in the area.
Great food and service at this local gem. The chicken ribs were a real hit, amazing coating and very addictive! Can't wait to go back for another cheap and cheerful dinner
As usual very tasty food. Brought friends for the first time and they were impressed. Bee Hoon in particular is a favourite for us there
Nice authentic Malaysia food and good service, esp the egg tofu and fried noodle. We definitely will go back again. Also will recommend friends to come.
Delicious authentic Malaysian fare. The service was also worth a mention as the team there at Ayam Chef are warm & attentive. Do try their Fried Bee Hoon (Vermicelli), Hainanese Chicken Rice, Combination Hor Fun. For sharing- their Cereal Prawn is delicious, the Sotong, house made Tofu... There's something for everyone! Thumbs UP!!
All Round, good and unique dishes. Was looking for and loved lighter, delicious dishes, but surprised by one dish being far heavier than I imagined or wanted.
Good prompt service. Authentic Malaysian food at fair price. Easy parking at the front. The fried "SanLao" beehoon is a must (plus the chilli). Will be back soon.
Great little place with authentic Malaysian flavours and attentive service ;) The hawker style meals are fantastic. Try the FKT and curry sotong. You will be transported back to the real deal
Tasty food and drink but they ran out of chicken rice which was a shame as its their special dish as per the restaurant name
Food is so delicious here. Coco Chilli Pork is flavoursome with just the right amount of chilli. Have been here for both lunch and dinner and the food and service is sensational.
Great food, nice ambience with lots of space which is perfect for families with children. Only comment was the Lor Bak sauce was different to what I expected. It could be Lor Bak from a different region hence having the sour sauce instead of the thick salty brown sauce.
Overall good experience. Fried Bee hoon was very good. Tumeric chicken & Hainanese chicken are succulent . Good serving. Efficient service. We will be back soon.
I usually only get takeaway from this restaurant and I always get the same thing. This time we decided to dine in. Not disappointed, especially the oatmeal prawns
Had Nasi Lemak for lunch. Wasn't the traditional kind of Nasi Lemak I expected, but taste good. Fast service, clean and quiet environment for lunch.
Had the Malaysian Beef Rendang - very tasty with the right amount of spice. Will be going back to try more dishes as the menu looked very enticing.
The food there are delicious. and the price also reasonable. The most important thing is good food, excellent service and the parking right in front the restaurant.
The food was delicious, with great portion sizes and affordable prices. Staff were always quick to top up drinks and clear dishes, and despite being very busy, we never once felt as if we were ignored or forgotten.
Brought my friends there when they came to visit.Beautiful food, especially the homemade tofu. My friends love the food there and they say they will come back again to try other dishes
Good fresh food with plenty of choice. Specials board well worth the look. Great service, very attentive. Definitely best to book as lunch was pretty busy.
Ayam Chef offers delicious meals at an affordable price, especially when ordering from the Hawker's Delights menu. Service is friendly and fast. Will definitely be returning.
Ordered a Nasi Goreng Indonesian Style and Nasi Lemak Chicken. Both were very tasty and generous portion. The waitresses were very attentive. We ended up take away the Nasi Goreng as the portion was big for me. Will definitely visit again :)
Food is sensational, so full of flavour and the service is fantastic. Malaysian sweet chilli prawns were so deliciously sweet, sticky and full of chilli. We will be back!
Took my friends there again and recommended my favorite oatmeal prawns to them. They all love it.
I organised a big group but they looked after us very well. I ordered rice noodle and it was very tasty. I would like try other dishes but I tend to order this every time.
