Ariel's Balgownie

I could only fault the people noise as we couldn’t hear each other talk at the same table. Everything else was great. Would go back again and recommend it to others

Food and service was lovely. Green tea needs to have no additives. Had to get a replacement which was attended to with speed and care. A table for 3 reserved needs to be separate from other diners as well especially when requested and with hard of hearing guests.

The food was great and service was great. Even though it was a busy Sunday morning for the staff.

Awesome cafe, My wife wanted a certain meal, on the Q R ordering system said it was sold out. Spoke with the Chef as he was doing a walk around, not a problem to whip it up for her. 10/10 great atmosphere, clean/Busy Cafe. Will be going back 2 x Adults 3 x Children Great value for your $$$

We waited a very long time to be served initially, had to ask for menus. Food was excellent with very good presentation. Milkshakes were fair, lack of presentation. Wait staff not very attentive and lack of attention to detail. Not a good look for them to be looking at their phones when dishes should have been cleared. We all miss Rhys very much, he knew his stuff, the owners have not been able to successfully replace him with anyone as good.

Ariel’s in balgownie is always a great venue to eat breakfast, morning tea, lunch, or just a coffee, the service is always friendly and prompt. The food is delish, it’s our go to place.

Food was good. Service wasn’t great. This place seems to be going downhill.

Visit regularly and enjoy the atmosphere and village setting. Great coffee.

I especially Booked a table for 2 a week previous & there wasn’t a small table available … ended up on a large table & moved when a smaller one became available

We really enjoy coming to Ariels in Balgownie, the food is always delicious, we are slowly making our way through the whole menu. There has not been a bad meal yet! The staff are always friendly and eager to serve us.

Will recommend to my friends. Lovely atmoaphere and friendly helpful waiter.
