Not a bad ambience, albeit a little empty earlier in the evening. Serving staff not particularly attentive and can be hard to get hold of at times. Flavors good but smallish servings. Was disappointed when we ordered a dish because it specifically had morning glory only to struggle to find any morning glory when it arrived...

Good food but wine options weren’t great. Came during week night so was a little quiet. Food came out quickly and was spicy and delicious

The Service & food was fantastic and fresh, very modern restaurant with a great warm friendly atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. An excellent menu and I recommend the Fish Popcorn.

We shared the 8 course dinner. Food was different and very enjoyable. Service was quick and staff were really nice. Desserts were particularly good. Left overfull!

Amok is consistently of a high standard. The food is Cambodian meets West, with superb flavours that just leave you wanting more. The service is excellent and the decor very welcoming. Try the set menu, a feast that will delight, and my favourite way to enjoy Amok.

Fantastic meal with wonderful flavours. Service is perfect and prices are very reasonable. A surprisingly great eat at a very affordable price. A standout meal and we will definitely be back

Amazing Service and Food. Highly recommend the 8 course Chefs sharing option, everything was delicious and the amount of food was just right and the soft shell crab was amazing and were the slow cooked ribs!

Love this place. Everything we ate was so delicious. Get the 12 hour allow cooked beef and the squid stuffed with pork. The service was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back to try everything else we didn't order.

The food at Amok was fantastic. It's a small and very casual restaurant and the staff were lovely. I would return and will return, especially for the grilled corn cob, oh and the deep fried cauliflower and the crispy Cambodian chicken ribs. Yummy.

This restaurant was just amazing. The atmosphere was tremendous andvthe staff so friendly and willing to help. Very reasonably priced. We had the vegetarian options and OMG the flavours and freshness. It was the best food i have had in such a long time. You will not be disappointed going there

Good location, the food is ok, reasonable price, excellent service, attentive waitresses. My fav dish are the fried chicken ribs and eggplant chips for side.

We did the sharing menu, it was fabulous. Bursting with flavours and plenty of food! Recommend this or the chicken ribs and beef wagu salad.

Great food. Amazing quality. Great portions. There really is no other option other than to go for the $54 (per head) 8 course banquet. Not too much food, but plenty of choice. Very tasty.

The service was attentive without being intrusive. The suggestions for dishes were perfect (I am vegetarian and was easily catered for) and the food was sublime.

Good Asian food at reasonable prices. May not be as refined as some of those in the CBD but still very good for the price you pay.

Recommended by a friend, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amok myself to anyone looking for somewhere great to eat. The kitchen didn't hesitate to accommodate my partner & I's dietary requirements and each dish was brought out in good time - and tasted delicious! The staff were present, but never over-bearing. We were looked after from the moment we arrived until we left. We're definitely coming back.

Food is always delicious ,comes out quick. Great place to catch up with friends. love the banquet. Everyone leaves happy. Make sure you book though to ensure you don't get disappointed. Definitely worth the try.

I love coming back to Amok the food is alway amazing!! Great in a small group when you select the Chefs selection. You get to try almost the whole menu.

A bit underwhelming. Pricey for what you get. The corn was good though. Staff friendly too but I don't think I would go there again.

Our party of four had the Tasting Menu, and it was perfection. The quality and execution are that of a Two-Hatted restaurant. We cannot recommed this restaurant enough. Loved everything about this place.

We ordered the banquet and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food. The variety and quality of the banquet was good and tasty. I loved the ribs. The restaurant was able accommodate one of our party who could not take dairy and prepare a wonderful non dairy dessert for that person. Definitely worth a return visit

Amok never disappoints, food is amazing and service is always spot on. Amok is over an hours drive from where I live and I keep coming back for more.

Fantastic food! Glad to see another contemporary Cambodian restaurant in Melbourne. Would be amazing to also have more "traditional" Cambodian food on the menu. Overall, splendid!

Excellent food, inspired flavours and textures. This was my third visit and was still as exceptional as the previous. Floor staff could afford to be more relaxed but otherwise the service too is very good. This is currently one of my top choices in Prahran for consistency of quality, originality and taste..

Every dish was delicious and we'll definitely go back to try some of the dishes we didn't taste this time. The staff were very helpful in accommodating our various food allergies and preferences.

Best restaurant on Chapel St! Its so hard to find Khmer cuisine, not to mention of this high standard! Make sure you try the avocado rice rice ball desert.

He food was amazing. Service was varied: One waiter brilliant; One waitress, not so good. Our table was by the front door and it was a windy night. People kept leaving it open and it really was distorted the enjoyment of the evening. Overall, loved the food and the overall experience.

Love this joint! 3rd visit tonight and totally yummy once again. Love ordering the surprise dessert every time, never disappointed. Make sure you go with 4 or more in your party so you can order different things and share and try everything!!.
