Alchemy Cafe Restaurant

If you haven’t tried polish food, come to Alchemy. You will get plenty of choice to try from their extensive menu to get an idea of polish cuisine. Have one of their soups or Pierogi if you crave traditional food.

Food was very good and quickly served. Staff was very friendly. We received some free alcoholic drinks and the best are the homemade cakes. They are so delicious.

Great experience: amazing food, fantastic home made liquors. The host is a wonderful person. If I am in Sydney again, I am definitely coming here!

Amazing food. Great selection of dishes as well. Depending on how hungry would say that the mains can be shred between 2 people. Staff were also very nice.

The staff were rushing and pushing us to hurry up with our meals.. We didn't feel relaxed.

A bit frustrating that they still let you book even though the restaurant wasn't even open. Looks like the owner went away and didn't update opening hours

Great food and staff were fabulous. Was a busy Sunday so maybe a little more crowded than we would like. Everyone had to move so one of us could get out to go the bathroom. Normally not an issue but we had someone recovering from a hip replacement. Overall a great experience though. Would go again.

Within moments, one of our party declared it "his favourite restaurant!" While that was a little tongue in cheek, the night was fantastic. The service and food was wonderful and the courtyard in the back was cosy. Have already recommended it to people.

Me and my husband went there for one of our first diners out in Sydney (we moved from Europe). I was born in Poland so I was eager to taste some traditional food and they delivered on it! Great both in taste and quantity, as waiter said "Polish portions!".

We ended up with a cold platter which was a new addition. It turned out quite different to how we had imagined it. Next time we'll stick to what's in the usual menu rather than what's on special.

We ordered pierogi and soup (żurek). It was tasty, however overall very overpriced for what it is.

We had a fantastic night. Dinner was great. The host was very helpful and accommodating.

Ordered the Golubsi and Pierogi. They were made well and really hit the spot. It was nice that they allow you to mix the Pierogi with different fillings: potato and cheese, beef, and sauerkraut. However, I only enjoyed the potato and cheese pierogi. The others I should've skipped. Each main cost <$30 which I think is more on the expensive side for what it is. I think the pierogis were about $25 for 9 which is a bit crazy. Setting was nice and romantic with a fake candle and a fresh red rose on each table.

We have been many times before but took our friends with us this time. The food was superb, the service exceptional. We all said how much we enjoyed the day. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants.

Great food, all freshly made with quality ingredients. Recommend trying the traditional pierogi ruskie (ie with potato and cheese filling), boiled or fried, and finish the meal with a piece of their homemade poppyseed cake. Delicious!

Awesome Polish restaurant, great flavours and the host is really entertaining and on the ball with service. 10/10. Everytime I'm there either dining on my own or with family and friends everyone is very impressive with the food.
