AL Nawab Restaurant Richmond

We had the dinner last night with our friends . we ordered entree’s which we got in 15 minutes, but for the mains meals we wait for an hour. After waiting 45 minutes i went to ask the staff, even they don’t know what’s happening, after approaching 3 times then finally we start getting our mains. It was so embarrassing we invite our friends for the Iftar dinner, which went soo bad.

Considering quite busy the food is alright, but the cutlery and utensils cleanliness must be improved. Customer service was standard and friendly.

Served cold food too spicy was told abt it at order but no care

Food was amazing as always,little bit struggling with the order but it was so much busy so ignorable delay.

WE entered at 7:30 pm. Ordered starters and got them immediatley. We ordered main course at 8 pm. Food arrived at 9:40 pm. 1 hour 40 minutes for main course to arrive. When asked we were given all sorts of excuses.

Met with friends for dinner at Al Nawab. It was a great dining experience, the food was so delicious as well as wholesome. The Nalli Nihari is till now the best I have had in Australia, a must try. The service and staff is also very friendly and organised. Greta experience overall, waiting to get bqck again!!

Positives: Food was excellent Service was good Negatives Overpriced. More gravy than meat in the dishes and not sufficient for sharing. Even though food tastes good, I think presentation of food could be improved in terms of dishes & cutlery used. The restaurant could do with a make over.

The food wasn't fresh at all. The gol gappas chutney was tasteless. Also, the biryani had a taste of garam masala only. Slow service.

Absolutely tasty food. Very close to Pakistan Taste. But a bit pricey.

You are serving your Alnawab special bbq and there is no beef ?? all was chicken …

All the foods we ordered were delicious definitely will come again.

Very poor service. No attention at all within first half hour of sitting down. Then had to ask for water, glassess, cutlery and to place an order. Finally serviced our meal 1hr 15mins after being seated. Thankfully the poor service was offset by very good food.

Mariam is a friendly staff..place and food is ok.. I like

The portion of meals quite good.Everything that we ordered was very delicious.

The minute we walked in the door we knew we were in for a treat. The door was amazing. Service was spot on even though they were busy.

I don't understand how people are paying for food which doesn't even have any taste. The Chinese we ordered was too spicy, fish wasn't cooked well. Cheese handi was way only cheesy no curry in it. The momos also were very hard they should have been soft looked like they were frozen not cooked fresh. Overall not a good experience.

The food was sumptuous. 5 stars for the BBQ platter. Loved the boti kebabs and the chicken. The flavours tickled the palate and the mint chutney blended so well with the meat. It was a divine experience. The Nalli nihari with garlic naan was a match made in heaven. To all food lovers out there, if you are true gourmets, you must give Al Nawab a try. You’ll leave with a fulfilled experience. To add to this, the ambience setting was good and the service was quick.

I went to there second time. Food was great. Service was fantastic. Would go there again for sure.
