Friendly and attentive staff and great flavours in each of the Indian dishes we tried. The restaurant was neat and tidy and provided a pleasant atmosphere.

The restaurant service was not professional given the previous reviews and information I had gleaned about the restaurant. There was no attempt to cater for all the diners at the table. There were four of us and only 3 samosas were served. Unlike other restaurants we were not asked if we wanted to make it four, We would have been happy to pay extra. Rice was a separate cost. Other Indian restaurants include rice. I probably would not visit this restaurant again.

A bright airy location with a delicious selection of indian food. Very much enjoyed the flavours and the positive service of the staff. Very friendly welcoming environment. Certainly recommend this restaurant.

Pleasant setting and excellent service. Onion bhaji was mostly batter and not very nice and the prawns werent great either. However the curry we picked for main was very tasty and also both really enjoyed the garlic naan.

Excellent food. Good Service. Great Location. The smell of Indian curry drew us to this restaurant. We were well rewarded. We liked the curry hotness scale that included both Aussie Hot and Indian Hot. When you go you should try Indian Hot.

The food was delicious, fresh and clean tasting. We will eat here again. The reason I rated it a 4 is because the Service Staff - slow,, extremely inexperienced and they had trouble understanding our order. She just handed us the bottle of wine (to open ourselves). :-) The atmosphere is more like a cafe than a restaurant, It's still worth going to for a nice Indian meal though .

Food was really nice but we were sitting at the table near the bar and had delivery Drivers constantly queuing up next to the table which didn't help the atmosphere.

Very poor. Our order never reached the kitchen. After waiting an hour finally got rushed meal . My partners meal was mostly potato and a few pieces of chicken. My meal was dry and obviously done in a hurry. Very little care by staff and we were offered no reparation and charged full price. Place was not busy so no excuse there. Very , very poor dining experience.

DELICIOUS! This is my second visit, and we had a different selection, everything is tasty and beautiful. We had a terrific feast and the service is prompt and friendly. Well done!

The food was reasonably good but one of the dishes was not up to the mark. When I gave feedback the chef was happy to acknowledge that and offered to give a replacement. I said that we had already eaten and they were considerate enough to not charge us for the dish. Staff were good and courteous. Happy and would go back for another meal.

Great food and atmosphere, with friendly and helpful staff, but the service was a little slow on the night. Overall though very good and I would highly recommend.

The quality of the food was great. Ambience and service was good too. Although a bit pricy, the portions served were large. Definitely would recommend another visit.

Believe this should be 4.5 not a flat 4. Enjoyed a night with friends. Food I would rate at 5.5. We had the Lamb Korma, it was so delicious.... Service was a little sub par, the staff were very friendly and helpful, but need a little more training, and possibly an additional staff, and I think this is more the challenge, the poor girl was quite busy, and this led to leaning over people to pass out the food, and drinks. The lady also sometimes struggled with the Australian accent, which is part of the experience, but also led to inaccuracies in some of our orders. I would definitely go again, and armed with this information would allow me to be prepared to assist them more with our orders. We are not big on worrying about servers leaning past to provide your orders, but if you are, be prepared, and when we go again, I would in a nice way explain this to them...

Always excellent food, good atmosphere, family friendly. Authentic Indian food , enough variation to keep you happy. Entree Main lots of options but dessert limited but not critical

Gluggy pasty butter chicken sauce - nice flavours though. Served in small white bowls where the food fell out when serving oneself. Very cold chilled Red wine??? Staff - no personality.

Food okay - but both food and beverage service very slow - had to keep going inside to get staff to place order for our entree, then again for main course...couldn't be bothered with dessert or coffee after that - and on a Weds night!

The restaurant had a cozy charming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and polite attending to our needs but not intrusive. The service was fast and the samosas great.

Authentic Indian dishes and very attentive friendly waiters. Suggest that the lighting would be better if it was a Bit softer in the restaurant and the music could be a little louder to be audible and add atmosphere. Very pleasant evening and we will return !

Fresh tasting curries and naans etc. we were served quickly and with a smile. We thought it was value for money although a bit more costly compared with the normal. We will try this place again and recommend to others.

One of the best Dal Makhni I have had in the longest time. Really good food and great ambience to go with it. Service was also fast and friendly. Would recommend it highly.

The curries were flavoursome, intense and individual. The service was good and attentive, however I would only give a low score on ambience, it was like eating in a cafeteria, just diming the lights a bit would have made a huge difference.

Both the food and the service were excellent! And the Monday night special is great value for money. Booking through quandoo was easy and the restaurant had our table reserved and ready to go when we arrived. A very pleasant experience overall!

The food is southern Indian style and everything we've had there over five visits has been excellent. The wines are on par with other Brisbane restaurants (a little pricey for what they are). Service is friendly, attentive and the restaurant is nicely appointed with plenty of room at the table, and between tables. Sometimes people come in for takeaway dressed in tracksuit pants and mill around the counter. That's only a problem if your table is near the counter. Great restaurant. We are regulars.

Dined with two friends tonight and absolutely LOVED our meals! I didn't have an entrée but my friends chose to start with shared samosa - and they were the biggest samosas I have ever seen! Both agreed they were delicious. Our traditional curries were loaded with flavour and tender meat, and perfect for a cool winter night. We were all in agreement that Aamaya is a really lovely Indian restaurant. The service is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Good wine list too. And an added bonus - if you park in the underground carpark you get 3 hours free parking - just get your ticket validated when you pay the bill.

The food is always consistently great and authentic. The quality of the dishes is very high. We really enjoy the food each time we go to Aamaya.

Visiting Brisbane recently, we did a web search for an interesting restaurant not too far from our accommodation. We saw the Aaymaya website with its photos of the river foreshore, and they described themselves as a "river front" restaurant. Imagine our surprise when we eventually found the place set back one row of buildings in a mall with no riverfront view at all. Not impressed. However, having arrived there and being ready for some good Indian food, we stayed and were not disappointed with this. The food was very good and the service reasonably attentive. You should be aware that if you dine here expecting river views, you will be disappointed, but the food was very nice.

The food was good but the lunch menu is too limited and not enough vegetarian options. The mix vege platter wasn't worth the money. Thanks.

The food was absolutely delicious, lovely decor and great service. Indian hot and Australian hot was judged perfectly. We booked ahead and they reserved a quiet table in the best position. Parking was more of a challenge with building works but we managed to find a spot on the street.

All entrees and mains that we tried were excellent. One of our party was from Mumbai and said the vegetarian food was just like home. Staff were polite and friendly and food came out promptly. Wonderful experience.

Great food and a great variety of all meats and vegetables. Excellent service and training staff which were doing really well too. Prompt delivery to the table and the girls were always attentive. Good night
