A Little Lagos

Had the goat and chicken stew with the jollof rice and egusi with fufu. Best stew was goat so recommend that but the portion size for it being $40 was not it. Also mainly consisted of bone and barely any meat. Bones are sharp asw so caution when eating it! Chicken was dry but the stew itself was decent. Egusi tasted kinda like korean tofu stew,, had melon something in it, 5 mates didn’t enjoy that one but I found it alright, an acquired taste. Fufu tasted like unseasoned mash with no butter,, which is what it’s suppose to taste like. Was good to experience authentic African cuisine. The jollof rice was very smoky and was cooked good. Good to try but won’t ever come back again for poor pricing and serving sizes. Music was also way too loud it gave us a headache :( But they gladly moved us to the back of the restaurant when we originally were sat in front.

Some of the food was bland and some was tasty. More towards the bland end. And when you order rice and rice cake don't bring them out them minutes after the main dishes they are supposed to accompany ! It was expensive for the amount and quality - 4/10

The service and smile from the moment we walked in was brilliant. Menu items were explained to us, and the staff gave honest opinions and suggestions about each item. The food came out really quickly. It was hot and delicious. I’ve never eaten Nigerian food before but I’m a huge fan. The plantines were nice and sweet. The meat pie was good but different. The rice with chicken was soooo yummy. I could just eat that alone, however we shared it with a serving of the goat stew. Spicy just hot I like it

The food was reasonable but not enough staff attending to patrons. It was also very loud and noisy.

Specialty rice dish was bland. Tasted as if out of a package. Goat Meat was very tough. Stew had many bones and bone chips in it.

Overpriced overcooked food. Can't say it was worth the price.

The food is excellent, the waitstaff ready to recommend delicious combinations, and they mix a great cocktail.

The service was good however the food was very overpriced.

The food was tasty, rich and balanced. We had a very good experience with the staff and the food. I haven’t felt this happiness in my stomach long time ago.

The serves were very modest for the prices (i.e.: overpriced). The restaurant was so loud it was difficult to hear each other.

You can only order food and drinks via an app with absolutely no service available. The app overcharged us and there was no one to help fix it. The app adds a service charge for no service. The food was very ordinary and there was no service to explain the menu. The dishes weren’t explained, no help was given.

The music was a little loud but the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Will come back again for another meal, thank you!

Really unique dishes that pack a punch with flavour and interesting textures. The House Specialty Cocktails are excellent and generous. Loud music so being able to lip-read is an advantage!!!! Highly recommended!
