Beef bento was great, although they don't seem to be on the menu so you will have ask them. Vegetarian option is also available with mushroom.

We waited for the meal more than half an hour and the waitress did not provide good service. The food is not bad but a bit pricey.

Delicious food and tea and lovely service. Yuzu is a dependable and enjoyable restaurant. I had katsu don curry - crunchy, tender and completely yummy.

They really struggled to modify any food for tolerances, as it was it still made me really sick. Lovely environment and friendly, but food is an issue if you struggle with anything slightly different.

Great food (although the day I went the ramen soup was way too salty), not too much to choose from (which may help if you can never choose what you want to eat), it's a little expensive and noisy for my liking but overall a good place for lunch and drinks

The restaurant was understaffed, very hard to get staff attention although there were not too many tables. Food was ok but the super Kale salad was so salty so we could really eat it. They put too much dressing.

Great Japanese restaurant, easily one of the best that I've been to in Melbourne. My fiancee and I got a lovely selection of dishes and had an amazing time.

Good food and service. The dining area can smell the cooking from the kitchen, which is a bit unusual for a Japanese restaurant (unless it is an izakaya type place with open fire cooking)

Wonderful dinning experience! From walking in the door and being welcomed warmly, having my favorite plum wine and an excellent Chicken Bento. Yuzu's staff take great pride in the service they provide.

Fast and efficient service. Good value menu options from happy hours. Gyoza were great and sushi was freshly made. Overall good value for money. Will return.

Fast service, yummy cocktails and plenty of delicious food to share. I love the share style of eating, because I get to try a bunch of different things and I can stop eating when I'm full! I recommend Yuzu for groups of four or more, so you can explore the menu to best effect. Get there before 7pm to take advantage of happy hour! My only gripe was that service could have been a bit more attentive. Our group probably would have had at least one more round of drinks if the staff kept a better eye on when our glasses were empty. But that's a small thing in an otherwise lovely experience.

Food was great, and staff was friendly. Portion sizes for sharing plates were very small though.a bit on the expensive side for what it is.

Great Japanese restaurant, right in the city, with excellent menu and drink list. It has the regular dishes plus a few interesting varieties. Reasonable pricing.

Cannot fault the food. Everything was tasty and fresh. However the customer service was really lacking. Really didn't look after us that well at all, felt ignored quite a lot. I really didn't expect this in the CBD. Very disappointed as it was for a special occasion. Unfortunately we wont be back.

I’ve been to the place a number of times before and was al aye great. Short staffed today I’m guessing. Entree was cold when we got it (wasn’t supposed be) and basically told to go and get my own bill from the register. Disappointed, but will go again. Hope it’s better next time.

It's a shame that in the recent renovations, they didn't get the front door fixed. A permanent blast of cold air was coming in from the wind tunnel that is Church Street the whole time we were there as the door wasn't shutting when people opened it. And we were sitting about 8 metres away from it. And it looked like at a lunch time on a Friday only one person was available to take orders. Not great. And the music was way too loud to have a conversation.

Fantastic food, the new updated venue looks fabulous. The music was probably a little too 5pm drinks at the bar for my taste. The only consideration was the table was light on service, coming back and checking for water and drinks didn't happen. Overall, a pretty good experience.

The food is always good and reliable. It got quite busy and it took ~10 mins to get given food menus and our drink orders taken.

Service was prompt and excellent, food was absolutely delicious! Serving sizes are not huge, though, so if you're extremely hungry you might want to order multiple dishes.

The best Japanese restaurant we found in Melbourne :-) ! Food is great, staff is welcoming and helpful, atmosphere of the place, design are beautiful too ! We are looking forward to come back ;-)

Food was good and came out quickly. We didn't cancel, but the cancellation fee is a bit steep even if you cancel in advance. Overall a good experience

Service was very slow and had to remind the waitress at least three times before I got the chilli flakes. Ditto to have our water topped up. I ordered mixed tempura with udon. The tempura was served without the udon & I had to repeatedly ask before the udon was served. This was my second visit. Very doubtful if I’ll return.

Waited for 50 minutes for food and then left because we were on our lunch break and couldn't wait any longer. The staff did not even apologise. One experience like this is enough to make us not return.

Good luck was delicious, and service was polite friendly and quick. However, there were items on the menu that I really wanted that were not available.

The service was terrible, we complained so many times about placing an order, then the food came out we got e plates if the 5. Then we received 1 plate more whilst we finished and then the 5th plate arrived. We all sat around while our colleague finished their dish. We could not place an order for drinks. Very poor service OK, but no apology or explanation despite our concerns.

The food was absolutely delicious! Service could have been more attentive but was okay. Overall, we had a very good evening. I would have wished tables could have been spaced out a little further apart for more privacy/quiet converstation, however that was very minor and didn't detract from a lovely evening. Food was really nice!

The Food was Lovely, Especially the Kingfish Carpaccio. The Service was outstanding and I would recommend coming here for lunch and am intrigued as to the dinner menu.

The food was top notch and the service very friendly. We were looking for an easy dinner within walking distance of the Intercontinental and this was literally across the road. We ordered the Yuzufeast and it was exacly what we wanted. Nothing at all to complain about.

Nice lunch, great atmosphere. A little difficult to get the attention of the waiters/waitresses. We waited a good 10-15mins before anyone came and asked us for a drink. By that time we were ready to order.

Service was fairly slow on this visit. However, all of the food was still amazing, except for the sashimi which wasn’t great this time around - seemed like a lot of off-cut pieces.
