Great selection of Mediterranean dishes, quick service and plenty of space for groups. The Lamb Shanks is a particular delight, recommended along with the Creme Brûlée to finish

Excellent food and wine. Good service. Wish it was not so noisy. Perhaps table cloths, soft furnishings etc would help. However the atmosphere is great and we like going to Xenos.

The food at Xenos is always absolutely delicious. Service is good, and value for money is okay. Great selection of beer and other drinks.

Corn fritters were a little over fried and servers could be more friendly and attentive but overall a good experience next time I'd order something different

Friendly staff and delicious coffee. A great local institution that has been in Crows Nest for forever! An excellent venue for early breakfast meetings. I will return.

Xenos is a super restaurant: great food, generous servings and great staff..this family restaurant has been in Crows Nest for years and whilst other restaurants come n go but Xenos reigns supreme..this restaurant is busy every night of the week

The service was excellent, the staff were helpful and kind. The food was delicious in a good price. The location is good because it is easy to find parking in the area.

We had a lovely family meal here. The service was good, food tasty and portions were generous. The selection of beers was extensive too! Great choice for a casual Friday evening!

Value for money with generous portions and can always expect the same standard every time....local neighbourhood eatery for catching up with friends whether over a cuppa or a meal

Too Noisy - must go a day other than Sunday. My wife was ill after the dish she ordered - perhaps it was a self-inflicted illness

Good meals but not gourmet or fine dining. Inside tables a little noisy for conversation. Service spot on. Parking in nearby street difficult to find. Price did not damage wallet.

Another lovely evening at Xenos. As always, the service was prompt and friendly, and the food more than met our expectations. And we always enjoy the Greek wines!

Great service. Lovely food. Good atmosphere. The kids menu had 6 options plus ice cream. They enjoyed it and reasonably priced. Warning for the immobile - the stairs to the toilets are very long and steep.

Realised it was too long between visits! Great food, cocktails, wine and down-to-earth service. Greek food as well as modern Australian dishes. Car park next door makes for easy access.

Our group went to lunch on a very hot day. Service was efficient. The dishes came fairly quickly and all dishes were tasty. The BBQ octopus sauce was a bit too acidic. The restaurant was very noisy and difficult to have conversation among our group.

Xenos is my favourite local restaurant. Food is excellent, with a wide variety, complemented by a good wine list including some excellent Greek wines and 'to die for' baklava. Service is second to none, the owner Peter or one of his sons is always there so everything runs perfectly. A perfect venue for all occasions.

Very busy evening but the wait staff were amazing. Orders taken promptly, drinks delivered to the table & water provided also without delay. We had a group of 9 people and had entrees, mains and desserts. All brought out in a very good time and each meal was amazing. We had the antipasto platters to share for entrees, steak, surf & turf, lamb shanks, pasta and veal. Could not be happier with the food and service. Will come back again soon!

Food was excellent - service was a bit lacking. Ordered a glass of wine which never came. The waitress forgot to bring the bread for the mezze/antipasto. Nothing to eat dips with.

Food is great and service is very friendly but we felt they were too busy for the staffing levels on the night. We have eaten here before and service was excellent in the past...

This is an excellent restaurant. There are a wide range of options on the menu - mostly Greek, but also pasta, salad etc. staff were friendly and the food was piping hot and delicious.

Very friendly atmosphere. Good service and a good selection on the menu to satisfy all tastes. A great place to catch up with friends and spend time without feeling rushed.

A great slice of Mediterranean cuisines. I went full Greek (bbq octopus, slow cooked lamb and an unpronounceable dessert and each was 10/10 and reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommended.

The food was excellent, however the venue was far too noisy. Very difficult to hear my companions! Also, why do you need TVs in the place? They are a distraction, completely unnecessary and seriously "cheapen" the restaurant. I strongly recommend you remove the TVs immediately, and examine the acoustic design.

We had a good mediteranean dinner, restaurant is a mix between italian and greek kitchen. A little bit expensive but we had a great time. Nice staff and good limoncello!

The food and service was great. Free two hour parking nearby is also really convenient. Good range of daily specials. I will definitely be back.

A family lunch with people of different tastes and ideas but all found the duck paté to be perfect. All meals were good, and the service was faultless

Have eaten there many times over many years 1st time disappointed with food - not hot and poor service hard to get attention of wait staff . Dessert and coffee not offered ( potential loss of revenue to cafe).

My mother, sister and I had a lovely experience at Xenos. We are Greek and are locals and visit this restaurant every so often, for that real authentic taste of Greece ! The meals are well proportioned, fresh, tasty and reminds us of our trips to Greek over the years. We had a lovely table inside facing out, the waiter was very friendly and we shared (as you do) a 3 course meal that was really amazing. Thanks Team ! After many years, you've still got it ! Also one of the best Greek Restaurants on the North Shore!

Great food, generous servings and very attentive staff. Consistently good. Not surprising this family run restaurant has been around since 1969. Guarantee you’ll enjoy your meal.

The host loudly and verbally abused me in front of friends and other customers after I presented my diners card for payment, despite having always done so, and successfully done so as recently as 12/12/2017. Apparently there had been a recent change to the list of accepted cards, and the new policy is to confront unaware customers and accuse them of lying and "sneaking" in a diners card when proffering a companion mastercard instead.

The food and service here is always excellent. It was very busy for a Saturday night and the acoustics didn't lend themselves to easy conversation. We left earlier than we would have had it been quieter. We gratefully accepted a change of tables for a corner banquette though!

Wide menu selection , as to be expected mainly Greek . Good food, generous helpings. Very reasonably priced. Service can be a bit slow when busy. Easy parking next door.

Good service, good food, decent portion. Was expecting Greek food on the menu but the first thing the waiter recommended was Italian pasta😳 . A bit disappointed that it was not a fully Greek experience.

I ordered off the specials board the slow roasted goat which I have had in my visit to Greece. Unfortunately the goat was tuff and very chewy being on the special list I was very disappointed I did mention to the waiter but there was no response. Not sure if I will be back or recommend to friends. Thanks

Very friendly, excellent service, delicious meals + very good choice on the menu; also a good atmosphere and "buzz"; long opening hours which makes organising a time in common to meet others very easy.

Great ambience and attentive waiters. Really enjoyed the wine and the desserts were delicious. I had the gyros and it was really authentic. We will definitely be back.
