A+++ food, best wagyu in Melbourne so far. I definitely will go back here. staffs are very friendly. nice food, nice people. nice nice ,

nice place, all of me and my friends really enjoy the meal here, we will come for other time, can't stop the feeling of the resuaurant.

The food is good, especially for the Folio gras and the service is good as well. Highly recommended. We will definitely go back again !

very delicious，BBQ did it by ourselves, the rice is also good. although quite expensive, it still worth it. do the bbq by ourselves will be much better than they do.

The service was quite slow and the servers lacked attention. Our dishes were not in order and our appetizers were late as well as our mains. In fact one of our dishes was so late we decided to cancel it instead. Although they provide some good beef, it's not worth the hype. It's over priced with mediocre service.

A great restaurant with fantastic food, and a great aesthetic. The Wagyu beef was great, and the servers gave good advice and recommendations in food and drinks.

Great food, especially the grill dishes. Service was ok but not outstanding. Booking was easy online, but I had an SMS from the restaurant as well as Quadoo to reconfirm thebooking.

Good quality meats but price not affordable (still great for celebration). Like that restaurant environment is not pretentious but could do better with the air ventilation.

Amazing wagyu!! and authentic too! definitely recommended if you want authentic experience. Taste exactly when we were dined in Japan. Always go here for any celebration we have.

What a great experience and such quality ingredients. If you have ever been to Japan and miss eating premium waygu, this is the place to go. Or even to experience the 'hype' of what wagyu is, this is a must! The service is sliver platter, with the option of your host cooking your meats for you. The sashimi was fresh, clean and beautifully presented. Great range of drinks, not just beer, cider but a wide range of sake too. A place worth checking out!

So good. Go for the set banquet and lychee punch. The chawanmushi is also a highlight. Too bad their deluxe version with sea urchin wasn’t available on the night.

Food great as always, but our seating wasn't great. I wanted a charcoal grill seat but ended up with a downstairs seat. I even brought friends from China with me since this is a place I frequent but we were a bit disappointed.

food was great, tasted of high quality, service was average - forgetting to serve our sashimi and also not serving the rice upfront with the meats until we asked.

It was my second visit to Wagyu Ya. As always, Wagyu Ya has the best Wagyu beef and authentic Japanese dishes to serve, we really enjoyed our dinner at Wagyu Ya, will definitely book again when we visit next time.

The food is good but services is a big let down. It reminds me why I haven't gone back for a while and I feel like I went in a Chinese restaurant type of service. I was still half way eating, the waitress said You finished, and trying to take my dipping sauce and bowl away. I was so shocked and she didn't apologies or anything. And given you paid such a high premium price but you only get one and half hour sitting, I don't think it is really worth it anymore. It is a shame as the food was quite nice.

I booked online for 7:30, but arrived in time still have to wait another 5 mins. But the food was really great. Special the M9, one of the best beef I had in my life.

I had great lunch with my hubby and my son on Father’s Day. The way Gu beef is awesome and the service is great as well.

Our family favourite restaurant and for ala card lunch the Bento box is a must as only available lunch time. And can taste different food sample BBQ, chicken, etc we always have a good food and time.

Fine dining, wagyu beef is pretty juicy, very very remarkable bbq. Food is so delicious, beef melt inside your mouth. Must try their fresh sashimi.

Great food always have a great time there. It can be a bit chaotic as it is such a popular place- staff do their best to accomodate everyone. I will always be back.
