Ventuno Restaurant

The service was very questionable. Rushed. When asked to taste the wine, the waiter was already pouring the wine in other glasses. No patience when ordering. They wanted to clear the table whilst half of us were still eating and there was still food on the service plates. Clean all the tables to bare minimum around us whilst we were still eating. It was only 9 -9.30pm.

Delicious pizza and calamari fritti. Great Italian wines and service

Very good service , food was dripping in oil ( particularly the Barramundi and duck dishes)

Pretty average experience but good enough for a pre-theatre meal.

The food was enjoyable, however the service and attitude of the staff was abysmal. Four times we were brought dishes and drinks that we didn’t order and then got treated like we had done something wrong. On the fourth rejection by us, I challenged the main protagonist about her negative attitude and eye rolling, she went all fake and sarcastic, then just avoided us. We didn’t order another drink as we thought our sour waitress would spit in them. Our neighbouring table agreed that there was a lot of attitude and stuff ups tonight as they received double orders, miserable faces and they had to be extremely assertive as they were being pressured to order more. Service and repect for customers should be as significant as the quality of the food. We wouldn’t go back and will tell our theatre going friends to avoid it also.

Family friendly atmosphere and service is excellent will definitely recommend

We often go here before the theatre.They factor that in by providing very good service and care to ensure we eat well and in time. Food never disappoints.

Very difficult to get attention of staff and food was quite mediocre. We usually enjoy our meals at Ventuno; this time was decidedly average.

Food was very good but service poor. Failed to be served with one dish we ordered, charged twice for another dish and hard to get attention of waitstaff, one of whom seemed to be dispute with another.

We were ignored when we walked in the door. Waiters walked straight passed us. The Margarita pizza didn’t have much taste.

We love Ventuno it is like going to to Italy to share a meal in a friends home.The staff ( many of whom are Italian ) are friendly , helpful and the food and wine are always excellent.A wonderful restaurant we'd highly recommend.

Our experience was fine - no issues , the food was fresh & on time. We had a nice assortment of antipasto with a seafood pasta & finished of delicious creamy Gelato with coffee. + Good service & dining experience.= Happy customer.

It was fantastic, we loved every minute of it. The food is great and the servings are a good size, my wife didn't even finish her plate and I am still full. The service was amazing and the atmosphere even better. Definitely recommend it.

Atmosphere was average, but food was delicious, would definitely go back for the food. And they were especially tentative to our 5 year old girl.

Great food and great location. Wonderful relaxing and laidback vibe with mouth watering authentic Italian food and wine.

Incredibly delicious food. A pity it was so empty but I can imagine it won’t be like this once people clue on what a wonderful dining experience can be had here. This part of the city is very low traffics right now but certainly much more charming and authentic than the cockle bay end of Barangaroo.

We had shared platters for a group of 10. The food was beautiful and the service was perfect. Location, spot on.

We had a few specific requirements to assist with comfort due to injuries and the staff were exceptionally helpful.

Delicious food, decent service. Kinda felt like the waiter judged us for ordering another’s pizza but I’ll take it with a grain of salt . Desert was a bit expensive for the serving size but overall Really worth the money.
