Great location, good menu, friendly service - happy to recommend, and will be back for sure. Nothing better than the peaceful views sitting outside by the water.

Pretty good but NOISY and the fennel salad had very little fennel in it but the calamari was delicious as usual. We were going to the theatre after dinner and were pleased to be served very quickly and efficiently

Great food with attentive service. We had the antipasto and meatballs for entree and were full already and asked for a half hour delay on the mains which was no problem. We had the pesto pasta and ragu pasta dishes which were tasty. Highly recommend but remember to book if there is a play on at the theatre across the road.

Our booking worked well and although the restaurant was very busy we soon placed orders. Our wine and water arrived quickly and soon we were sharing delicious antipasto and pizza. The reason for eating at Ventuno is location, authenticity to Italian cuisine and wines and closeness to theatre.

We have dined here on many occasions over the years. As always the food and location was excellent but today on my daughters 18th Birthday the service was below acceptable.

Great location. Mediocre food. Could be more flavourful. Risotto was bland. Pizza not much pizzazz. Needs a culinary reboot. At least they have a decent happy hour

the food was very good. We had great service at our table. The meal took a little longer than we would’ve liked as we had theatre reservations. We booked early for this reason but still waited longer than many tables. Still a really enjoyable lunch at a table with a great view

Excellent and friendly service. Very good Italian rose by the glass. The antipasto plate had high quality and varied produce. Excellent overall before the 1.00pm theatre across the road.

I have been to Ventuno a number of times and there has been consistently good food and excellent service. I was last there for lunch after graduation and they seated us in an excellent location on the water at the front of the venue.

We went for a pre-theatre meal. There were six of us. The service was efficient and friendly, the meal was very tasty and the price was reasonable. We will return.

Food was great but the service was a little disappointing! It took 10-15mins to be served after arriving by requesting a waiter and then another 15mins to get the bill! Prawn entree amazing and seafood spaghetti but the crab risotto hardly had any crab!

Excellent food and ambiance. The service was not entirely great with our main meal arriving cold but apart from that I would highly recommend this restaurant.

A restaurant opposite the theatre should be better able to cope with the pre-theatre crowd. Service was rushed (but charming), key elements of dishes were missing, and the pasta dishes were a little bland.

Food & service were excellent. Super busy after the theatre, however, meals were on our table in 10 minutes. The kitchen must have this volume of orders down to a fine art. Great pizza. Friendly staff.

We (party of 4) dined pre-theatre and the restaurant was very full and incredibly noisy. Service was not good. They didn't get our drinks order right so had to send them back. We all ordered risotto. When it came they only brought 2 serves (which they gave to the men!) and we had to enquire about the remaining 2 which finally came. After all that, the risotto was somewhat underwhelming.

Well located on the water front this Italian restaurant is very popular. Close to Wharf and Roslyn Packer Theatres. Friendly staff, extensive wine list, menu includes pizza, pasta and fish plus more. Our barramundi was delicious however parts were under cooked. Restaurant unhesitatingly replaced the dish which was cooked properly.

Terrific location on the water and near Sydney Theatre, featuring a traditional Italian menu. The selection isn't overcomplicated, and the value here is with honest meals. Staff are accommodating and attentive. I'd visit again, and probably for a special occasion.

Wonderful food - calamari entree was beautiful and tender and the main course spaghetti pescatore was sensational. Service was good although at times it was hard to attract the waiter’s attention. Of course the location was fantastic, especially on a warm evening with all the doors open.

A favourite place to go. The food is always outstanding, the menu not too long but always imaginatively Italian, the wait staff efficient and 100% Italian, and a great wine and aperitivo list. Three new additions today on the dessert menu - go the pineapple soaked in rum with vanilla gelato. A winner!

Food and wine were fine. We were just a little annoyed by the 'hard sell' of the main waiter. The lunch was a reunion of old friends and we wanted to take our time and enjoy the experience, but we felt the pressure a bit.

one of 3 tables on a Sunday night and had to continually flag down the staff to get service, yet were rushed to finish. Provided bread without plates to put it on. Plates started to be cleared before everyone had finished eating. Staff did not make us feel like we were welcome -- more like we were an imposition. Food was average, except the salade mista.
