Really convenient to Ros Packer Theater, good atmosphere, fast, friendly service and fresh, simple Italian food

Excellent service and delicious food. Always a good experience. They served in plenty of time for us to get to the theatre.

Moody atmospheric setting overlooking a relaxing, iconic private marina and wharf dwellings. Service was very warm and fast which suited us as we were seeing a performance. Highly recommend eating here especially pre or after a performance.

We liked the restaurant. The service was a bit jumbled. Osso Bucco was offered as a special but then was taken from the menu. Four people ordered and one dish failed to arrived. Expectations were therefore not satisfied for two reasons. The missing dish issue was fixed speedily. Please take more care to serve the wine cold. We would like to see the menu slightly expanded and suggest a couple of traditional Italian veal dishes added. Great location, good atmosphere, comfortable surroundings and nice people were very appreciated.

We arrived at the restaurant and were seated promptly. There was a great atmosphere in the place and the menu looked great but unfortunately the rest of our evening wasn’t so great. We ordered drinks which we slammed down on the table (wait staff didn’t use trays which is a bit unprofessional). We then order our entree and mains. A short time later a waiter arrived with my entree and main. We explained that there had been some sort of mix up and that there should be two entrees so the waiter left my entree and took the main back to the kitchen. 10 minutes later my wife’s entree still hadn’t arrived and my entree was going cold so I asked the wait staff to take mine back to the kitchen to keep warm. This apparently caused more confusion between the wait staff as it took speaking to three different wait staff to have it taken away. Eventually both entrees were brought to the table. Food was good. After entrees we tried to order more drinks but the staff ignored us. When we finally ordered more drinks the waiter seemed unable to find our table and we had to try to get his attention to let him know the drinks were for our table. Mains came and were tasty but nothing special. We then asked for the bill only to be given two dessert menus. When we finally got the bill the waiter explained that they had removed the charge for one of the entrees due to the error which we appreciated. When we paid the bill we were apologised to but when we tried to explain that the service in general was awful the waiter (possibly manager) did not want to hear it. We said we werent making a complaint but we’re just trying to provide feedback but he just said it’s busy it’s a Saturday night. Having worked in hospitality for many years it is beyond comprehension that being busy is an excuse for not listening to a customers feedback.

This place is always good. We have been eating here fir years and somehow despite being very busy before a show, the staff are always so attentive and friendly. Tiramisu is the best in the world!
