A good location within easy walk for Vivid goers. Food was authentic Italian and the setting moody. Staff were very hospitable, non-intrusive but always attentive.

Great food and setting is beautiful. The shared platter is a must. We had fish, pasta which were all excellent. Make sure you leave room for the tiramisu- divine.

Great food and location. Service from staff was a bit slow however it is the busy Christmas/New Year season so we were ok in the end :-)

Food was good but service wasn't great. At the and we had automatically added a $75 tip to our $250 bill. I usually tip however found that quite sneaky and not appropriate at all after drinks and food had been forgotten or came out wrong 3 times.

Delicious pasta that was perfectly cooked. Great pizza. Classic Italian style cooked in wood fired oven. Friendly and prompt service. Easy to book. Lovely view. A little extra cost for the view but makes it back in delicious flavours.

We had the seafood anti pasta, this time with with a salad and pizza. Did I mention the nutella pizza and tiramisu. What were we thinking..... The anti pasta and salad where plenty I am yet to be disappointed with the quality and taste of the food here. They scored a five, because they have taken the eggplant rolls off the menu.

Great staff, great food! Our waitress was so good even when we asked a few questions about the wine, she didn't necessarily know herself but went straight away to ask and came back very quickly with a response. Amazing views too - we had a lovely mid-week lunch there. Would highly recommend!

The quality of the food and the wait staff was excellent. The food and wine menu was of a high standard. Unfortunately, the dining experience was marred by a large table of diners whose behaviour was appalling, including drinking games and yelling. I was surprised this behaviour was tolerated by management - it appeared to be disrupting a number of diners. So much for RSA! Would go back there for food etc but not on a Fri/Sat night.

Great food. Beautiful location. Really good service, staff were very efficient and very freindly, more than enough food and reasonably priced. Four of us @ $60 pp, for 3 courses including alcohol and coffees. Highly recomend this place for both lunch and dinner.

We ordered Taffu Pizza and Moscardini In Umido. Food was very nice and the flavour was very good. The Pizza was too thin, the base in the middle was practically non-existent which was disappointing, it meant that all the toppings just fell off. Moscardini In Umido was very rich and we felt like we needed to have had more bread to go with it.

Fantastic sharing antipasto platters - and then huge 4 person pizzas which were amazing. Has to be the best place for a group / sharing lunch in Sydney - a hidden gem! 5th visit with the team from work and will keep going.

We've attending this restaurant many times over the years. Held several family functions for 20+ people as well. In the past, exemplary food, service and value for money. Always found pricing to be typical for Sydney, but quality and service has always been spot on. Attending recently after a long absence. Food quality still terrific. Service was mediocre and quantity of children's meals was pathetic and erratic. $18 per child, one bowl of pasta had less than 30% of the others. Mentioned to manager, apologising they brought out another plate - sad part - they charged for both dishes - $36 for a kids meal. 4 adult mains, 3 kids meals, 3 Entrees, 1 salad, 1 x $65 bottle of wine, 2 large bottles of mineral water $450 ($39 of that was weekend surcharge). Normally happy to pay $100 per head in Sydney, stretch it to $150 if ordering an entrée and main plus couple of bottles of wine but our experience at Ventunos was a bit rich, and that's coming from someone who dines out 2 to 3 times a week (mainly CBD and Inner West), who also reviewed restaurants in a previous life, and is always happy to pay for decent quality and service with a smile (don't expect the wait staff to be servile, just pleasant). Always tip a minimum of 10%, but not this time. Pick up your game Ventunos, you're too good a restaurant to received a lack lustre review such as this. Regards Ed Hanna

Service was slow for a Monday. Probably sat at the table for more than 10 min before we had anyone come to us, only after our table kept eyeing the waiter. Once orders were taken everything seemed to move at a steady pass.

Food was beautiful and service was very good. Great location. The only negative was the day was so hot and it was very uncomfortable sitting in the restaurant, which had only a few small ceiling fans which did nothing to cool down the place. I understand that because the restaurant is so open, AC is not possible but I couldn't wait to leave and we skipped dessert unfortunately. We look forward to returning to enjoy the beautiful food another time.

Starting to go off this place. Always a good vibe, but the more I eat here the more disatisfied I'm getting. For a top class restaraunt with the prices they charge, food should have the wow factor. Instead, pizzas too soggy, antipasta tasted cold like it had just been taken from the fridge with undercooked bland prawns on top. Chose the expensive Sauv Blanc - shocking, tasted like vinegar. I wasn't shown the label so have my doubts it was the NZ one I ordered. Look, Ventuno is still a good Italian restaraunt. They just need to start picking up their game.
