Lovely food. We shared a large plate between 4 of us as a pre-theatre dinner. Great setting, light and airy and very good service. Would come here again.

Great view, friendly staff and wonderful tasting food. We were able to get our table early and service was almost instantaneous which was great considering it was Valentine's Day.

Excellent menu and food was cooked to perfection- enjoyable. The lunchtime atmosphere is relaxed and easy. A great place to meet friends and catch up.

A very good restaurant in a fabulous position, but this meal let us down. My calamari was overly oily and I couldn't finish it. Service good as always.

Great place for a early pre theatre dinner overlooking the water near the wharf. The food and wine choices were good. We had really good friendly service. We will certainly be returning!

I love the atmosphere here. Such a pleasant evening down by the water. As always the food was superb, and the wait staff friendly and helpful, and yet never in your way. A wonderful night out with friends.

It’s a great spot by the water, the food was fresh and delicious (prosciutto pizza), served delicious olives... enjoyed with lovely SA rosé and efficient service

Beautiful venue....very attentive staff.. amazing menu! I had my daughters christening here and one of my fav restaurants. Can’t recommend it enough (great also for vegetarians like me)

Although my food & wine were refunded and the meal remade, finding a small cockroach/insect in my ravioli was not a great experience. Have previously had great food there, unsure if anything has changed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the setting looking over the wharf and water was wonderful. Service was good, however we did have to wait to pay the bill.

Very busy pre theatre. Staff were friendly but slow to take orders presumably given the number of diners. Good antipasto and pizza at a reasonable price.

We required very quick service as we needed to attend a show afterwords. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly explained the menu items. The service was good and quick. Recommend it anybody.

Fast service for pre-theatre dinner. Great food and attentive staff who exceeded expectations. The risotto gamberi is worthy of special mention. Wine list was extensive and had a great range of prices.

good choices for gluten free options.Pissa base was a little soggy but risotto was perfect. Fast service ,out in time for show across the road

Service was excellent. Menu is extensive. Pizza was a bit oily & too much mushroom. Would go there again for sure though. Good atmosphere & ambience.

Excellent venue with a view if Sydney Habour. Great and quite authentic cuisine— everyone in our party was pleased with their meal choice. Server was very attentive. If attending a play at the nearby theatre, a perfect choice!

Overall experience was good, the food was fresh and well presented, drinks menu was extensive and ambiance was bustling with all patrons seemingly enjoying themselves. The reason I didn't rate a '5' is one of the drink orders was forgotten, otherwise it would have been a '5'. Excellent location if you are attending the theatre across the road. Our group enjoyed the experience and will return in the future.

Reliable restaurant, good location, efficient and fairly priced. A perfect pre theatre venue. With wonderful share plates, decent wine and the wait staffs accents it has an authentic Italian feel.

Ventuno is always a lovely experience. The food is really good, fresh and original. The service is excellent, efficient and friendly but never intrusive. As well, the ambience is both welcoming and dramatic being right on the water with immediate harbour views.

Fantastic food and very attentive and helpful staff. Will definitely be visiting this place again and again. Pizza’s are so good and the desserts are brilliant.

The staff were efficient, food arrived quickly, they understood that we were going to the show, the view was good, food was great, a pity that we had to go to the show.

Our table of 4 had a wonderful time at Ventuno Restaurant celebrating my twin sister's and my birthday. The service was brilliant and we did not wait long for food and drinks. Everything that was served up was delicious! For a table of 4 we ordered a sharing plate to start (which was a perfect, light way to start the night), then we each ordered a pasta dish plus one pizza to share for the table - all of which was cooked and prepared perfectly, especially the pizza! Our favourite desserts were the Tiramisu and the Affogato with Frangelico. The vibe and ambience of the place was perfect, and being situated in Walsh Bay along the water was especially beautiful and not overly busy/chaotic as it usually is on a Saturday night anywhere closer in the city. We will definitely return - I think pizzas for lunch on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon here would be perfect.

Great place for a pre theatre dinner. A short walk to the theatre and a fabulous waterfront view. Staff were friendly, food was well priced and beautiful and food came quickly. It was a wonderful experience. Didn't feel rushed and that we wouldn't east in time for the show. Will come again.

What a lovely dining experience my husband I had at Ventuno. Our dinner was beautiful and the service was exceptional. All of the staff were very polite, friendly and knowledgeable of both the food and drinks menus. We will be returning!

So good that we’re going back for family birthday celebrations. The view, food and service were absolutely superb. Perfect start to a night out at the theatre.

Food was great. Service was good. Happy hour drink prices should be available with food. It’s misleading to include the cheap drink offer in the menu.

You honestly can't beat the location, food and service. Will go back to Ventuno over and over again because it's consistently excellent. My number one go-to restaurant in Sydney.

Booked a table online a few days ahead for a pre-theatre dinner. Fantastic service, great wine list and food was beautiful. Our table of 4 ordered the Cicciona platter (Meatballs, rice balls, vitello tonnato, fried calamari, zucchini flowers and a choice of Rosemary or Marinara pizza), which was plentiful for a full meal. We will be back!

Great location! The water views are lovely, the pizza was delicious and the service was very efficient (they knew we were going to the theatre afterwards).

Pre theatre lunch for three on Saturday and both the food and service were excellent. They were very busy but attention was always near when needed. Food was delicious and the setting is so very relaxing. We were also afforded a table change without fuss or bother for a senior member of our small party.

Uninspiring food and indifferent service, which is a pity because it is a really nice setting, the maitre’d had that disinterested Italian sulking thing down to a T, perhaps it had been a long week, I won’t be back.

The location was great and the staff was friendly but ultimately the food was a letdown. The pasta mains we ordered (the spaghetti and rigatoni) we ordered tasted like just cooked dry pasta. For an authentic Italian place we expected home made pasta or at least exceptional sauce.

Been there several times and it's been great. This time wasn't as good: The staff were excellent, but the food was disappointing. The eggplant pasta was underdone, a bit cold and there was very little eggplant to be seen.

Location 10, food on the other hand was 0. Like seriously, who ever is behind the kitchen needs to wake up, tasteless pizza , sloppy mushrooms and pasta with ton of tomato paste from a can.

Outstanding food and service. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful location , one of our favourite places to eat. This was our 6 th visit.
