Great spot. Good menu and helpful staff. Menu offers a good selection, My friend has Cealiac, but it was no problem. Excellent for pre theatre

A great location, quiet, elegant setting that boasts great food. The staff were attentive without being imposing and the range of food suited both vegetarian and non veg people

We went for pre theatre meal. Food was nice, though pizza a little less than crisp, great choice of wines by the glass and excellent service all with great view. Would recommend seat near water. It did seem a bit crowded towards the inside and very busy pre theatre

Efficient and pleasant service. Excellent food, wait staff took into account that we were going to STC and ensured we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal and get to the play. This is not the first time we have eaten there and on other occasions have been similarly pleasant dining experiences

Great place to dine before the theatre. Very efficient and great service and the food was delicious. The restaurant was not too loud even though it was very busy...loved the view over the water.

Ambience is fantastic, views are great, and wait staff was attentive. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. Very authentic feel to the place and the menu. Would definitely recommend.

Rushed service , had to ask for wine which had been ordered, pizza very doughy thick crust, not pleasant. Told us kitchen closing 2100 in other words, “hurry up”

The staff were very helpful on what was a very busy day for them. They assisted us with a celebrating a birthday. Water - Even with staff being very quick to fill glasses, it would be preferable to have a water jugs or bottles on the table. It was a very warm day.

Love the food, the ambience and location but service is always a problem. Sloppy water pouring, chasing coffees, chasing the bill and general manners that verge on rudeness. Get that sorted with some good training of staff and the place would be perfect.

Location great, atmosphere great, food served quickly, great we were to close to a fan, but it caused the hot food to get cold quickly.

We have eaten at Ventuno many times, often pre-theatre. Normally, the service is efficient, the food good. The last two times we have eaten there we have had quite slow service, having to ask someone to please take our order. We will probably return because the setting, food and location are worth it, but we will either allow more time or be more forceful about getting our food quickly.

This Restaurant environment is very nice, but the prawn is so small, The pasta is not enough. I ordered a paste and salad. But I am not full.

Lovely food, magnificent Italian wine. Liked it being decanted. beautiful view. We took a visitor to Australia and it was a perfect after theatre dinner.

We love the share plates. Very relaxing for a pre-theatre dinner. We often meet at Ventuno before our theatre nights at The Wharf or Ros Crighton Theatres.

Lovely table overlooking the water, great atmosphere and staff were very attentive even when it got busy. Food is reasonably priced for the quality and delicious.

Great setting by the wharf and convenient to theatre. Good service and quick delivery of food to table given theatre booking to follow . Unfortunately food disappointing-

The Restaurant had outstanding and friendly service with truly authentic Italian cuisine. It provided a Great atmosphere And was not overly priced. Will definitely return in future.

The restaurant has wonderful authentic Italian food, a great view looking out onto Sydney harbour and the service is very helpful. My recommendation is the entrees, they were fabulous!

Food was very good, as always, and the service was adequate. The food is always very good here and reasonably authentic Italian fare. The setting is beautiful.

Service was a little bit slower than usual. We had to ask someone if we could please place our order. Food and drinks were good when served.

They really have pre-theatre service sorted! Fast, without being rushed so plenty of time to enjoy the great food. Lovely setting beside the water and a short stroll to the theatre.

Nice staff and drinks but food was terrible. Seafood used in pasta and pizza was very poor quality and consisted of minced up bits of prawn and unidentifiable content.

Good seating and lovely food and cocktails. It was not too heavy. The tea martini was very nice! Would recommend the place for a dinner as well.

Great location by the water at Millers Point. Food was nice (vegetarian pizzas, and 2 pastas available as well as some antipasti) and service was attentive. My only gripe would be the cost of sparking water, which was exorbitant.

Ventuno was a perfect spot for a client lunch. They gave us a great table, the service was friendly and prompt, and the food was fabulous. Will definitely come again for future business lunches!

Great food. Great staff great wine by the glass. I am never disappointed dining here. It’s also a great location - great before the theatre and great with the grandkids too!

Worst service ever! Literally sat with empty cocktails through appetizers...guess they didn’t want our money...so when we gave up on that had to ask 5 times for water which arrived after I paid. We were going to stay for dessert but opted to not spend another dollar there after the terrible service which the manager just said “someone is pouring it now”...uhhh yea now that we asked 5 times to several employees, clearly he missed the point. Food was above average, had a pasta dish and pizza though so hard to mess that up... And as for views, great views but the mosquitos nearly ate us alive. Don’t waste your time.

Fabulous restaurant, been there many times now. Amazing views, great food and smooth service. It was a very hot Australia Day and they gave our group of seven the choice of sitting inside or outside. Highly recommended.

Good location and interesting view, street parking available (which is important in Sydney), very attentive service staff and great food! We have eaten before and will be back again

Ventuno is a great pre-theatre restaurant. The ambiance, outlook over the harbour and service are all excellent. My calamari was perfectly cooked and the rosemary abs sea salt pizza delicious. My daughter enjoyed her “kids meal” of pasta followed by gelato. The only disappointment was the wilted green salad. But otherwise excellent.

Great Italian food, excellent service in a pleasant environment. A good way to spend an evening overlooking the water, sipping a cold beer or wine.

Wonderful Barramundi and vegetables. Highly recommended. The service was attentive and professional. Beautiful table on the terrace and we were out the door in record time for the theatre.

great service and food, and SO convenient for pre-theatre as they are really focused on making sure you aren't running late for the show, but in a non-pushy way.

Welcoming staff provide good service and the food is great. Being able to sit on the pier overlooking the water makes this a memorable experience.

Excellent service, excellent food and drinks. Everyone made the evening very enjoyable. I would recommend this restuarant to anyone. Since I live in Canada, I will not be back for quite a while, but I will be booking a reso with Ventuno when I am back in Aus.

Very nice italian restaurant, with good service. Food was really nice and location is just perfect - quiet with a sea view. We ordered a small antipasto platter (superb), and for mains risotto (perfect), pizzas (nice) and pastas - all really good. And the drinks (coctails) - you have to try. Strong recommendation. PS - not touristic - at all :)

Great food, lovely location. Service not brilliant but acceptable. The only problem we had was that the advertised pizza e birra Sunday special wasn’t available on Sunday (!! It’s apparently only available Monday to Friday according to the waiter) and then they had the nerve to add 10% extra because it was a Sunday ........

The food was excellent and waiter was great. They were understaff so delivery of drinks was slow. Entree before drinks was a huge surprise. improve bar service.

What a wonderful dining experience. Great friendly staff and awesome food! Highly recommend for large group functions. Will be back as soon as I can.

The food is some of my favourite I’ve tasted in Sydney. For starters we had zucchini flowers and calamari, both were full of flavour and so Morrish. For mains we had the seafood pasta and the mushroom pizza and they were both great! We were served by Nico and his service was amazing.

Great food although the backpacker waiters can be hard to communicate with at times. Great food and wine though, the view makes up for almost anything.

Great food. Service very pleasant but s l o w. No toilet paper or hand towels/dryer in bathroom which let down the experience. Otherwise would have rated higher.

Great pastas - not just your standard ones. Good quality ingredients - such as very tender calimari. Good service despite being very busy pre Christmas.

This is like a restaurant in a tourist area. It has a captive pre-theatre crowd who are there mainly because it is right across the road from the theatre. It is a pleasant place and the staff friendly, but the food itself is entirely ordinary and expensive. It reminded me of the old Woody Allen joke: Diner 1: "That was terrible food." Diner 2: "And such small portions."

Great view without all the craziness of Sydney Harbor. We had the Antipasti for 2 and pizza. Both very very good the only disappointment was the wine unless you wanted to spend A$100 the offering was mediocre. Most of the red were “young” 2016 or younger
