Very nice and helpful staff. Great cocktails and very good Chef secret menu. Very generous dishes. Reasonable price. Great decor. However the wine selection is a bit deceiving.

I visited Tokyo Lima for weekend brunch. Staffs were very friendly, various foods were all good (but a little salty & too sweet for me), decent interior and spacious seats. The hall was way too noisy with a group having a birthday party.

Always good but not as exciting as what Chicha used to be. Some dishes are pricey in regards to the content of the plate whereas others are generous and affordable.

The environment was very pleasant - service was exceptional and food was an interesting blend between Peruvian and Japanese. will definitely be back again soon.

Service was patchy - the male server was on the game while the female server was pretty pathetic... That aside, the food was also pretty mediocre. Only the yellowtail ceviche and the skewers were on point. For this price point I am definitely expecting more!

Beautiful restaurant and delicious food! We did the tasting menu and it as a very generous amount of food for the price! Would highly recommend doing that. We will be back soon to try different dishes!

We chose the Feed Me option where we got to sample a variety of dishes. There was enough food for everyone at the table and it was delicious. Every dish was great given the flavours and textures. Dessert that followed was an added bonus. Our server was awesome and very informative as well. Loved it and will be back for sure.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. especially when I realised my of our guest did not eat raw fish or beef. They come up with something else. The chef specials was delicious and reasonable price. The only problem was the music was to loud especially as we put next to the speakers.

Dishes are in good portions. Loved the T-3 salad and Tacu Tacu fried rice. The futomaki sushi with Orka tempura was surprisingly good. Good service. Would like to revisit sometime soon.

We just had a drink and snack. Excellent calamari en good cocktails. Bar area is nice. Intended to eat too but only on confirming they informed us table had to be given back at certain time which was too soon for us.

The ambiance and crowd is good but the food less so, especially the Japanese-influenced dishes. The drinks are also a bit disappointing. Does not live up to the hype.

I'm not sure why they can't seat us earlier. It's not like they were full. The sashimi/ceviche is always guaranteed good, drinks are nice too

I think it's important to make a note about how much they press the next sitting' s arrival. They are very pushy and don't manage this very well. The staff are so freaked out about it that's the first thing they say to customers and the last. We would have totally understood they just need to train their front of house better

Love the ambience and great variety of cocktails there. We tried a few dishes and they tasted really good. The dishes are good for sharing. Among the dishes, I recommend the maguro with watermelon and the grilled chicken. We ordered a banana split for dessert too. That was pretty good too :)

Super noisy. If you look for a place to have a chat, this is not where to be. I need to shout to have a conversation with my friend. Service very minimal. It is more like a bar not a restaurant.

Savory items were delicious. Dessert paled a little in comparison, because the savory dishes were too good. Service though was a little lacking and rushed. Courses were served before the previous was done. Water was not served promptly, not even refilled when dishes were just served. The glasses were empty a little too long a handful of times.... Food was good, and that made up for the experience.

Food was lovely, service was good only negative was being given a bit of a crappy table; the back of my chair kept getting knocked each time a server rushed from kitchen to restaurant floor.

The venue is very elegant, and the service very good. However the food was very average /poor. We chose the "chef feed me" option which allows the restaurant to choose the dishes for you. It was 480pp, however not one of the dishes had any flavour. It was all extremely bland, also the a la carte cost of the items was much less than 480pp. We ended up paying 3500hkd for a meal for 4 people, which probably the food itself on the a la Cart would have cost 1000hkd, plus 6 gin and tonics. Very overpriced for a poor meal. Out of the 7 or 8 dishes we had / not one of them were remarkable or flavoursome. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

We had an excellent night out at TokyoLima. We had booked for a table at 9.45pm as there were no earlier timeslots, but we went along to TokyoLima's happy hour at 6pm to enjoy a few drinks in the hope that an earlier table would come up. I had the drink "There's Something About Mary" is TokyoLima's take on a bloody mary with beetroot juice and a house made mix - peppery, bursting with tomato flavour and hint of beetroot sweetness. Awesome start! As was the Mrs' mocktail. We were lucky that evening, managing to get an earlier table and were seated by 6.30pm! Our table went with the omakase menu and what an experience it was! TokyoLima's signature dishes are indeed outstanding and with 9 generous courses, we were stuffed! Highlights were the S.S. salad and the prawn acevichada! The TokyoLima makis were also very well made, brimming with fresh maguro and sushi rice that delicately falls apart in the mouth. We will be back again to taste the other dishes!

Nice food with reasonable price. If you like to try more variety from the menu, Omkasae is highly recommend. The only thing was I had to return the table before 8:30pm, I couldn't finish all my food within one and half hour.

Great food - interesting flavours, generous portions. Lovely decor in a nice environment. TokyoLima is fusion cuisine that actually works - where the combination of two different cuisines are complementary rather than clashing with one another!

We had the weekend brunch yesterday, ordered the cod fish and steak as our main dish. The food is excellent overall, except that a couple pieces of our steak is kind of chewy. We like the ambience very much too.

Was really excited to try this restaurant, service was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We had the omakase for the table, all the dishes were lacking something, not one dish stood out. There was no flavor complexity expected from a fusion restaurant, it was basically soy sauce, yuzu, vinegar and salt...most of the dishes were either too salty or too acidic...and tasted all the same after a while. The grilled octopus was cooked well but again flavor was flat...kimchi chicken was too sweet and parts of it very dry...cheesecake was underwhelming (too much gelatin)...it was a decent amount of food for $600 a head but totally unsatisfying.

Good food. Though we had booking kept us waiting close to 30mins past the booking time. Every 10 minutes after the booking time, we were told "few more minutes. setting up table now". Could have handled it better - be upfront, give us the menu, ask us to order before we got to the table, offered a drink etc. etc.

We'd been looking forward to this dinner, but left feeling quite disappointed. Maybe it's better to visit when it's not the weekend and the kitchen has more time to dedicate to the dishes. Our server was lovely and attentive, but that didn't make up for the disappointing meal. We started with the ceviche nipon as an entree (appetizer to the Americans) and despite looking colourful and tasty, it lacked flavour and was quite bland. Unfortunately, this set the tone for the rest of the evening. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was memorable. The music in the restaurant was also very loud, so it was hard for our table to even hear each other.

Food was innovative and fresh - lots of variety in the Japanese and Peruvian space so something for everyone. If you get rice, definitely go for the Peruvian (coriander + garlic + butter) rather than the steamed!

Interesting mix of japanese and peruvian flavors but food quality is just OK (prok meat chewy, dessert too sweet...) and I will recommand not to take their "degustation menu" as its mainly low quality dishes
