We were seated in the bar section of the restaurant. The main restaurant is much nicer. I was disappointed that they did not at least tell me that they were seating me in that section when they called to confirm.

The atmosphere was quite trendy, festive and welcoming. The waiters were very friendly and efficient. Prices were not cheap, but really worth the quality! Food and cocktails were honestly delicious. Recommendations: - The beef tatami (to die for!!) - Yellowtail triadito (amazing) - Black cod - Sweet potato fries (to die for!) - T-3 salad - Classic ceviche - Octopus - Oye Papi (chocolate dessert) - Cheesecake Less amazing: - Spicy Hamachi (yellowtail makis) - Portobello & Nasu (veggies)

Incredible service, food, and drinks. One of my favorite restaurants in Hong Kong. I strongly recommend the Chef choice.... so much food and all the best items.

First time in TokyoLima, and a nice experience it was. Great ambiance, good food ( the grilled octopus, hmmm...), nice service. All the ingredients for a pleasant evening! Will be back, soon!

Great staff, delicious food, fabulous ambience. We were a group of 5 and all had a really enjoyable time. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who fancies something a bit different.

We were a group of four, and after discussion with our server, and amongst ourselves, we opted for the Feed Me (Chef's tasting menu) option. We were not disappointed by a single dish. Everything was heaven.

Highly recommended. The cocktails were good, the menu very interesting and the food excellent. The Tacu Tacu (Peruvian rice) is particularly good. The ambience is good, and the service very friendly and efficient.

Great atmosphere and nice food. Our waitress was really good - great service and very friendly. Maitre D was also very knowledgeable and recommended some good dishes.

Expected a little more. Service good. Didn’t write down our order so forgot to bring salad. By the time salad arrived meats were mostly eaten or would have gone cold

It was our first time to dine at Tokyo Lima - it was also my husband's birthday that day. The restaurant had a great vibe, even for a Monday night! We had a great meal - the mussels were superb! And the service was excellent. The extra touches with the birthday cake, song and photo was quite memorable. I'm already planning to go back with a much bigger crowd next time with definitely much more drinking to enjoy the evening!

Our food was fantastic. We ordered the tasting menu. My only two complaints was that we were given a very boring chicken main dish which was a let down after so many delicious starters. In addition, our waitress was incredibly condescending. She made comments about my expression (I barely glanced at her and I didn't even say anything!) when the chicken was set down in front of us but then neglected to say anything when we didn't eat it. She made comments after how we barely ate our food (which wasn't true!). Then, she proceeded to be nice once she gave us the check (since tips are not included and she wanted a good one). Nevertheless, the food was delicious minus one course and the vibe wasn't great. We are always generous people so we gave a good tip, however, I've lived in HK for 9 years and I've never experienced an encounter with a more snobbish waitress. I was unpleasantly surprised.

I had a great dining experience there. Chic restaurant with good and interesting food and cocktails!!! I'd definately come back again and recommend to my friends!

The accompanying sauces for each dish were delicious. Seafood, especially the tiradito, ceviche and tartare were wonderful, light and fresh and the beef cheek adobo was succulent.

Perfect experience as always, great food, friendly and perfect service, a real fun evening. We will come again and again, maybe a little change in heb menue would be nice after three times

Food was good, loved the flavours in the ceviche dish. Service was good. It was a birthday meal, they sang a birthday song for us, took a polaroid and gave it to us in a card.

The octopus was amazing! Also enjoyed the Oye papi desert. good music and atmosphere. It's a nice place to go with friends and for couples.

Service was great and the place itself looks stylish. My friends and I enjoyed a freeflow brunch and the sharing starters were all really tasty. The mains were not really mains, they were small skewers but overall there was enough to eat (if you asked for a little extra)

The brunch is very enjoyable. Love it. We definitely want to come back again if the restaurant will change their brunch menu time to time.

Great food. Great service. Just pick the "feed me" menu and let the chef take care of your meal. The place itself is very nicely decorated.

We ordered the "please Chef feed me" courses, we can't bel we had 20 dishes of food in 2.5 hours! Yum yum! And, the staffs there were very nice!

The food was great and the service was nice and attentive. On the negative side - the music was too loud and the tables too cramped

Tables are a bit small but food is innovative and tasty, and reasonably priced. Waiters give attentive service that makes the whole dining experience all the more enjoyable. Wine list is somewhat limited though. Would have stayed for dessert if given more time.

Service and food were amazing! Would recommend the tuna avocado sushi and "el taco". Will definitely return and am looking forward to trying their brunch.

Amazing food, good service & nice place! The menu "Please chef feed me" offers creative dishes, blend of flavors with delightful plating and colorful presentation!

The hamachi in hamachi roll was not fresh enough, the batter for the prawn tempura in La Causa was not correct. Service was friendly but could come over to the table at a better timing instead of when people are talking seriously.

Request to change table was accommodated after several follow ups. Really enjoyed the cocktails and food especially the octopus and chicken skewers. Good vibes. Will visit again soon.

Very nice dining place and would definitely go back! Great value on the omakase menu which you can sample their signature items in one lovely price. Also no 10% service charge on top!

Fabulous evening as always! Food and service outstanding. The Chef's plate is not only good value, but delicious. The staff were also very accommodating for our vegetarian guest.

Good food and service. Will return for sure. Good visit, it was once a dim sum restaurant and then a dancing club which was not very successful. Glad they found a good use of the venue now.

That was my second visit to TokyoLima, and we enjoyed the experience even more than the first! Food was great - we tried something new this time and everything was great. Good service and good vibe - will definitely come again! The only down side is that it's not easy to book - timing was odd, either 6:45PM or past 9PM.

Not too impressed by omakase. Will try a la carte next time if I only back. Fun bar area and environment but nothing amazing about the food.

Very good, we had a very good time celebration at Tokyolima. We enjoyed the food so much, they are very delicious. The atmosphere is so great, we were havind very good time there.

We love this place although a little more change on the menue could be good, it's the third time I was there. Asked if I could get the Adobo witkout Beet I was told it's pre-marinated, pity. Food was great as usual

Absolutely loved the food! The tanginess and a kick of spiciness really woke up my tastebuds. Service was attentive, food came in a timely manner, ambiance was cozy and chill. The only criticism would be the tables were put too close to each other, even I with a petite frame had trouble going through. My friend's seat was even constantly bumped into/pushed by anyone passing through.

Service was very good, we didn't have to wait for long for our food and drinks to be served. Food was very nice and not pretentious. We opted for the "Omakase", it's definitely value for money!

Superb atmosphere, great food, great service. The combination of Peruvian and Japanese cuisines is just divine. Make sure you have the cod, and book early - the place is packed !

Food are good but served too quick, all came at once, should be dish after dish so we can enjoy the taste better. Also The sofa we sat were defective , kept on rubbling ...

Staff did their best to accommodate our table request (table for two, in a corner). Good atmosphere. Interesting drinks, especially the "smoking gun". Special and delicious food.

Nice fusion food, worth the visit. Staff very attentive. Music is at disco level. Communication only possible in a small group. But that is nothing new.

Very nice food, cozy and trendy place. Loved it a lot and want to visit again sometime soon. Saturday brunch was a bit pricy but worth paying.

Great service, will be even better if a larger table can be arranged for the 3 of us, for the dish plates are normally big and a bit difficult for all the plates and drinks to be served at the same time.

Service was excellent, despite it being very busy for a Friday night, our waiter made sure we were taken care of, plus the consistency of the food was excellent as my previous visit. Would go back again anytime. Only downfall was the music was too loud for conversation at the table, had to yell over the music

We went to TokyoLima for a Sunday brunch with our children (4 and 7 years old). As soon as we sat down, the children were given a children's menu and each were given a brand new box of Crayola crayons and a coloring page. I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was so child-friendly. The service was fantastic. The food was brought out without too much delay between each course and timed just right so we weren't overwhelmed by so many dishes. The wait staff was attentive and checked to see if we needed a top up on our water and other drinks. The food was tasty. The presentation was nice and appetizing. Just be aware that it can get a bit loud in the restaurant, especially during brunch when unlimited brunch cocktails are offered. We would definitely go back again.
