Delicious vego food in a cool venue. A little self-important but what vego joint isnt?

Booked for a table of 10 for my daughter’s 17th bday. They had a great time, great food, great icecream next door too, will be back! Thankyou!!

The food was nice, however we were a group of 12, and they brought out everyone's meal, except for my friend's, and it was her birthday. By the time she got her food everyone else had finished. If they could co-ordinate 11 meals to come out at once, surely 1 more could have been done also.

It was wonderful - particularly the lovely staff and delicious food!

Booked ahead for 8 people. Service was good and staff friendly. Food was tasty and arrived promptly. Very very loud venue however, found ourselves having to yell at each other across the table.

Amazing! The waiter had an amazing knowledge of food intolerances and allergies. He was excellent and very friendly. Thank you Vegi Bar. We were very happy.

Walking in I could feel the vibrant atmosphere. Food was very fresh, tasty, well thought out in terms of ingredients and combinations. Our order for 7 people came in good time, and that’s with a full house. Staff were all pleasant. Would go there again as the prices were very reasonable. Transformers around th corner is their more classy upscale vegan restaurant. This is a casual style with causal food like burgers, pizzas and bowls. All very yummy.

Loved the atmosphere and the although I am not a vegetarian, I thought the food was tasty and fresh and wholesome. The prices were not over the top.

lovely food, lovely staff and lovely location. service was quick and lots of options for every dietary requirement. even the carnivores had a great time.

Food was amazing, so much variety to choose from there is an option for everyone. The price point is also affordable for any budget. We all enjoyed a big meal each and numerous drinks and it was no more than $30 a head. Although one of our meals was forgotten, the staff quickly sorted it out. The service was great and most of the staff are super funny and engaging, making it a great night out.

The food is amazing & great variety. We were a group of 11 ladies and our server was very helpful & quick in returning back to our request even when it was a busy evening. The food was served in timely manner Overall it was a memorable evening. Loved this place & will be back.

We were placed right near the front door for a 7 person reservation and the sun was incredibly intense in our eyes and hot, even after the blind was put down. It took a really long time to get a waiters attention to order our food. But once the food came, which it did all at once) it was absolutely delicious! Would definitely go back, just hope not to be put in the same spot again for a special event booking, as everyone was overheating and couldn’t see each other because of the blearing sun.

The food was dry. Out of 8 people 1 person was happy with their meal. Service was awful! One of the guest had to wait 30 minutes for their meal. Wouldn’t go back.

We find it hard to have dinner anywhere else, we just love it here so much. The staff are the best, always so friendly and happy to accommodate dietary restrictions, and the food of course is delicious!

Dinner was great and the staff was really good at taking care of my coeliac requirements! Mostly greens with the satay sauce was delicious :)

The staff were amazing in accommodating our large group! We were more people than anticipated but because it was a little quieter, we were able to take over a large banquet-style table. The manager was very helpful suggesting dishes that were easy to share. They made its very easy to dine as a large group and were very considerate and conscientious of dietary needs/restrictions. All of our food arrived quickly and was so very delicious. Would definitely recommend for a large party and will be returning again soon.

Wonderful food, every one of our meals was superb. We had new goreng, laksa, burgers, tagine and pizzas and everyone loved it. The samosa and flatbread starters were also great. The service was excellent. We are from the UK and a visit to Melbourne is not complete unless we eat at the Vegie Bar.

Food was amazing and fast. So many yummy cocktails. One of the bar staff was showing excessive affection to his gf (another work colleague) behind that bar which was a little awkward and unprofessional. But apart from that amazing time all round.

The food and service were quite good. The waiter was very knowledgeable and happy to provide food choice recommendations. The desserts were scrumptious and delicious.

Just love this place, we have been coming here for years, delicious food, fun ambiance, awesome service and they cater really well with my son’s nut allergy.

Food was great, heaps of delicious options, and great service. Would definitely eat there again. Good that bookings for larger groups are possible too - thanks for great night out!

Actually really disappointing. Said BYO on the Zomato app yet wouldn’t let us Bring our own bottle. Not even after purchasing 2 of their overpriced bottles. 20% extra on public holiday too - hope this is going to the staff. Last time we come back here for a while.

The food was absolutely delicious. The service was great and timely. Their menu has great options.This place is good value for money. Good portion size!

Great food amazing service..well done veggie bar you guys rock, setting was perfect and they sung happy birthday too my boyfriend too. Highly recommend veggie bar.

Food was mostly excellent, especially the Massaman curry. Pizzas less impressive. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. Initial process to get seated was crowded and confusing.

This is one of the best places I’ve ever eaten. The food is amazing and the staff are a delight. Everyone seems to be having the best time. I loved it.

Food was delicious and service was great. Only thing I didn’t like was the noise and the fact that there were a lot of people for the size of the restaurant. Overall it was really good and I will definitely go back when it’s not as busy.

Great vegie food in friendly environment! Staff very friendly and helpful with all enquiries. Give the mee goreng a try or one of the spicy burgers!

The food was very tasty and nicely presented. The seating was very crowded and difficult to move around. For me this was a small minus but others might be OK with this. It was certainly very busy for a Monday night which certainly says something about the food the offer.

Had a great night at the Vegie Bar with visiting friends from NSW. We all enjoyed our meals and couldn't finish them, we were so full! A great, healthy eating place with a sociable vibe! :-)

The food was fabulous but our waitress was on another planet. We received meals with no cutlery we asked about the veggie bowl and she said they were the usual frozen veggies 🙀 and she kept strolling off when we were asking questions. The food made up for this and we will return although our daughter, a regular customer of yours, was very embarrassed that she had taken us there and received such poor service.

Amazing group dining experience, fantastic service (and singing) with the birthday cake and loved that we could BYO! Have been before and will continue to return time and time again!

This was our first time at vegie bar and this place is amazing all the food we had was delicious, we will definitely be coming back again, we even had people come with us who aren't vegetarians or vegans and love it, said the food was amazing

Food is consistently good and was today. one meal was forgotten but was it was taken off the bill so all round a good experience.

Great healthy food and friendly service. Lots to choose from , loved the detox Beetroot drink! We will definitely be coming back again very soon!

Wasn't informed when I booked of the 20% (!) surcharge on public holidays. So options when we arrived were either pay the surcharge or be charged $168 to cancel. As The Vegie Bar already has quite overpriced meals/drinks I thought it was in poor taste to pass this CODB on to customers.

Excellent food and upstairs was really good for a group - good atmosphere but still able to hear everyone at the table. Overall excellent experience

Great service and atmosphere. The menu accounts for all dietary requirements allowing a large group of people to find something suitable to enjoy. Choice of beverages is just as great !

Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Great food and atmosphere. Just wanted to shoutout to the bartender who concocted the Sleeping Beauty, it’s a magnificent drink and is absolutely perfect!

Great food and service and atmosphere. Could not believe how good the food tasted as I am not vegetarian. Nachos and Big Mac were incredible.

SUCH GOOD FOOD, great service. Unfortunately its very loud in there and kind of cramped. Still one of my all time favourites though! I ordered the fungi pizza (vegan) and it was amazing

Vegie bar is a great pkace to go for a meal. Amazing food and an electric atmosphere :O. I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody.

Food was great. We had rice balls and pera rucola pizza, the sauce of the rice balls was really good. Service was fast and efficient!

Fantastic food, staff are great, great vibes. Everything that we ordered came on time and was really tasty. The portion sizes are very generous. Overall, great value.

Food was to a high standard, as I’ve experienced in the past. Two out of the three wait staff were lovely. The third waiter was rude when asked to bring a larger glass for beer, he mistakenly brought smaller glass and we asked again, he then returned to the table and banged same size glass down in front of my husband without even looking at us. Disappointing. But overall a good experience.

Great food, enjoyed by all. Great drinks, excellent sangria which was a hit!! Even made an mocktail, which wasn’t on the list, thanks again for that 😁Good service
