First time coming and we were disappointed. Amazing food. Def coming back
Amazing food, good prices and good service! The durian creme brulee is a must try
Fresh Indonesian food, cafe atmosphere, service friendly cheap and cheerful.
A great little restaurant. Food is very tasty and quick to serve. Very good service from the staff. The only criticism if you could call it would be the stools....a bit hard for ladies of my vintage lol. Otherwise excellent service and food.
Good food, friendly service, and reasonable portions. Rather quiet while we were there, and the ambiance isn’t anything special, but a good dining experience.
Impeccable service: friendly, professional, accommodating. Great taste (and I'm an Indonesian so I know what I'm talking about!). Great value for money. Very happy to have found this gem!
Interesting variety, distinctive tastes, fair prices, friendly service and not too noisy.
Chicken is moist and delicious, easy to reach of town hall, service is quick and helpfull. Thank you
Great food with very quick service and friendly staff. We tried all of the Sambal dishes and they were all delicious.
Decent food, but given the city location, portions were small given the prices.
Delicious food, reasonably priced, quick service. Will definitely go back.
Great food and speedy service. Serving sizes are small but oh so tasty.
Amazing food. Very reasonable prices. Great service with a smile.
Love this place, the sambal eggplant is my favourite dish.
Service was very good but disappointed with food, found it ok.
Food great, service good, price very good, serving size perfect for us and considering the price. BYO too but with corkage.
Very authentic, tasty Indonesian food at a great price. Fast service, attentive staff. Definitely recommend
Awesome place food and hospitality, keep it up for sure
Beef rendang and barbeque chicken are delicious. Good services and easy to reach location.
Introduced Sambal to a colleague from the Netherlands. We all enjoyed our choices very much ( the rendang, the sate, the kikil, the dendeng balado and the sirop buah). Service is great, friendly and informative. Totally recommend this place when you are in the CBD. Do try the condiments that are available to purchase over the counter.
food is delicious, the barbeque chicken is delicious and tender, value for money.
Cheap and cheerful. The food here is always tasty. Anything cooked in sambal is very tasty. As a tip, don't order too much rice! One serve feeds about 2-3 people.
Cheap and cheerful place :) Tasty food and great value!
Very nice food ! one two three four five six
Friendly and accommodating staff to our group of 10 for a birthday. Great food for sharing.
Without a doubt the service was extremely friendly and the food was wonderful, real value for money. The restaurant was quite full and yet the dishes were delivered very promptly. Fantastic, casual dining experience. Evelyn, Peter and Erica.
Authentic Indonesian food at a great price. You know it is good when many Indonesian people go there. Pleasant customer service.
Services good and quick. Value for money. The menu OK
There are two stairs at the door, so it's not convenient for wheelchair users. Food is delicious but too spicy, maybe a little adjustment is needed.
Pretty tasty selection of food at affordable prices. It’s hard to find quality food in the Sydney CBD area that’s price so well. Customer service was fine and food came out quite quickly.
