Waited a long time to be served even for drinks but once we were served the items were delivered quite quickly. Toilet location is also a bit inconvenient .

The place was very cozy and had a good feel. Also the waiters and waitresses were extremely nice and we got a free dessert as it was someone's birthday.

It was the first visit to this restaurant for my husband and I. We both love Japanese food and after reading the very positive reviews, we decided to book for dinner after our day in Fremantle for ANZAC day. The staff were lovely and the food was great! We are keen to go again to try some other dishes. Definitely recommend that you book ahead as it's not a big restaurant and seating is not the most comfortable.

Really nice food. Reasonable prices. Good location. Good service. Little loud in the restaurant. Menu is lacking a little - would have been nice to have a ramen or curry option. Definitely worth a return visit.

The sushi rolls at Modern Eatery are incredible. Fry Me To The Moon is a winner, a deep fried sushi roll featuring chimed salmon, cream cheese and the most delicious sauce. Staff here are always very friendly and I always leave satisfied. Small restaurant but still good for a group so you can share and try a bit of everything.

A beautiful set menu, plus catered for our coeliac daughter with the utmost care. Lovely staff and the freshest of food - we will definitely be returning. Many thanks.

Amazing food and great service. The aburi tuna sashimi is incredible and the cocktails were delicious too! This will be a regular evening out for us!
