Great place great food and drinks and great service Highly recommend
We were very happy with our table service & all enjoyed our food.
Only disappointment was the meals were a little small for the amount you pay. But quality was good and prompt service.
Ordered a salad Nicoise which was really small and very underwhelming. Need to try a bit harder.
Very disappointed after visiting the Lucky Shag with a group from work. Reserved a table 1 week in advanced for 6 people. Arrived to find they had put us at a small table right next to the men's toilets inside . Requested to be moved and was told that if a table of 6 came available we were welcome to go and sit there. We ordered the sourdough and hummus and again was disappointed, We were served 3 slices of white loaf bread (Not sourdough) and also had ordered the charcuterie board that consisted of an uncooked chorizo sliced up with 2 slices of white bread and some Olive oil. The bowl of wedges that we ordered was also drenched in salt. We had to collect our cocktails from another bar but then saw another table have their cocktails delivered. Really disappointed in our experience and wouldn't recommend this place to anybody ever.
Great food for bargain prices in a lovely location! Service was spot on cant fault it
Took a friend from out of town and was a great spot, great service, great value for money. The entertainment was great thought the fellow singing was really good.
Had a great time, food, service and drinks were fantastic!
Restaurant was good vale for money and well located in CBD
Catch up with Family ..... great night, great table on the water edge, service impeccable.
Great atmosphere and setting on a warm night, but our food order was taken wrong and difficult to rectify. Also noise of background music when band was on a break was too loud to talk.
Music a bit too loud, but overall had a good time.
The only thing that I could see was that it was too early in the afternoon for the music so loud from the singer. He was good just found it hard to talk comfortably without raising my voice.. Maybe just turn his speakers down a touch because his music was great to listen to still... Overall we both were very impressed with the service, food/drinks and venue’ Kind regards Peter Wilson
Lovely waitress. Great atmosphere. Food was really good. (Didn’t like the rosemary taste to the chips!)
Food was great and service was good. Busy but didn't affect us.
My request wasn't met and we spent 30 minutes trying to find suitable seating for 10 people as request.
Didn’t have full menu available. Bit dissapointed with food. B
Very decent food, nice to sit outside, but some tables need some more lighting as at night it is harder to see. Good friendly staff, live music, great location. Good local beers, but would like a better selection of lagers and most beers are pale ales.
Great vibe Good Food Band was really good had fun
My husband stood at the bar for a very long time wanting to get drinks and nobody would serve him! He gave up as our meals were sitting at the table getting cold. Luckily a lovely staff member came over and took our order from the table as she said she saw noone was serving us! My nachos were very dry and disappointing. Prices reasonable and serving sizes good.
Cold beer, good food, nice little waterfront setting. Good intimate place to go out.
Beautiful food and lovely atmosphere. Staff where friendly and attentive and we enjoyed our night.
Food delicious, barman very helpful and friendly. Would go back again
Great atmosphere menu could do with an upgrade, friendly and helpful staff enjoyed.
Fantastic location and ease of booking made for an enjoyable lunch.
Awesome venue, great catch up with great friends, loved it.
Great table service. When booking, I asked for a table near the water, and go exactly what I asked for. The booking was done online and very easy. The food was good and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Chilli mussels were lovely, generous size for the price will come again
The food is nice with reasonable price. The service is good with good atmosphere. Highly recommended.
The food only being served close to 50 mins after we placed the order. in saying that, the food is delicious.
Such a lovely place to meet your family. The food and service was amazing. Would always recommend The Lucky Shag.
Staff were great, food was average, venue good. Good night.
Great place and great location. Busy as but no complaints
Good food, good city views Great place for a catch up
the squid we ordered was really good and the banger and mash was ok
Loved the staff, views, food and the atmosphere but the live music was way too loud
Great setting with live music and lovely food. Would recommend for families
The meal was acceptable but mine was served much later than my partner’s - he had almost finished his meal when mine was served. The garlic bread was inedible, seemingly cooked with a foul tasting oil. There were few options for vegetarians. The music was so loud you could not make conversation. On a positive note, the atmosphere on the wharf was very pleasant.
Food was not the best. Curry of the day not a great rendang as told by staff. Atmosphere great - staff otherwise attentive
