Great atmosphere, great food, relaxing environment. Service is also very good by wait staff. Plan all my team dinners here from now on, nice and close to the office and love the parking availability.

I’ve eaten there a number of times, I’m not sure if there are new staff in the kitchen, but the pizza was way over cooked and not very tasty and my friends ordered medium rare steaks and they were at best medium. Disappointed as normally I don’t mind paying the rather high prices as the food is usually a lot better

It was the first time we visited this establishment after having driven past it numerous times as I live close by. I often wondered what it was so suggested to my partner that we give i a try for something different & we both loved it. We started out at ESS the rooftop for a pre-dinner drink @ members prices followed by dinner downstairs in the bistro. The waitress offered us a choice of table for two or train carriage- si we decided to try the latter and thoroughly enjoyed & would highly recommend this option for either a couple or a group. Food was delicious and service was good, we’ll definitely come back and have already recommended the venue to loads of family and friends! Only drawback was the lack of parking but next time we’ll probably take the Metro from North Ryde, very convenient.

Enjoyed a Sunday bistro lunch, great food and wine. I will definitely be returning.

Would have been nice if staff quoted prices for drinks (when not listed on menu) before letting people order... ended up with an $80 Whiskey shot that we would not have gone for if the staff had done a friendly reminder - it will influence our choice to come back unfortunately.

Good food (friend chicken could’ve been more fried, would have done well with some blue cheese sauce). Staff needed to be more attentive for example removal of menus and empty glasses.

The staff were professional and welcoming. The decor was top notch, but most importantly the food and drinks were awesome. Would go again!

We booked a table and we’re Greeted at the front desk graciously and escorted to our table which was a booth. It was quite and with ample of room for the 4 of us. All the meals were delicious. Great place we will all definitely re visit.

No host to greet us at the entrance to bistro,asked a staff member how to find my table as we had a booking,they sent us back to the entry door and told us that the host should seat us but still no host.Then the same girl came up to us at the bar gave us menus and said we were in the second both from the left then walked off.

I'd like to show one of my favourite spot to my friends and they really enjoyed this restaurant.

Great spot, however needs a bit more thought put into car parking and service levels. The noise level is quite high in the bistro but nothing you wouldn't expect from a pub.

Overall was very good. the highlight was definitely the food...but I don't mean to put anything else down...overall very good.

The cocktails were very good but if they don't have happy hour on weekends they will not get a lot of people. The restaurant was practically empty.

Nice furnishings, lots of room, the tables are far enough apart that they offer better privacy than most places. Very nice atmosphere and well maintained. The scotch fillet was medium rare, as requested, but lacked a little flavour. The Jus sauce option worked very with the steak. The chips were very good. I had the chocolate brownie dessert, which was very well presented, and while initially I thought lacked a little flavour, the more I ate the more the flavour revealed itself. The staff set a higher standard than I had expected, and overall it was a very pleasant experience

Girls night out - the food, service and company were excellent

Lovely venue, but the girl that was taking the orders , lack of customer service. She was disrupted by follow staff whilst taking my order and I had to go back and repeat 3 times , she never had a smile and was abrupt.. not much variety on the menu as well

Terrible. For both meals the food was terrible. Pork belly was the worst I’ve ever had, and my friend had the salt and pepper squid was oily and soggy. Very overpriced. No parking. Am a local resident but will not go back.
