Fantastic venue in every aspect. Staff are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Young Morgan in the rooftop Bar is sensational. Exceptional customer service with a lovely smile. Food is awesome. Overall sensational evening in a fantastic venue. 10/10

My friends & I enjoyed a great meal & drink sitting in this seating area that the staff call a “train carriage”. Great Music playing in the background & you have the option of closing the sliding doors & having your own private function! Very hip! Looks great and great atmosphere!

The place overall is very impressive and the food was good, will surely come back and let others know of the place. Cubicles are a good idea for small groups.

Food was okay but orders were all mixed up and restaurant was so cold that diners froze and hot food was soon just as cold. A request to turn down a/c was ignored.

Amazing! It was my partner and I’s 3 year anniversary. The staff at the Governor went above and beyond to make our night special and presented us amazing desserts! Will definitely return and thank you for making our week amazing! (We we’re currently moving houses and needed to relax.)

Great spot! Great service, nice food we were greeted and taken to a private dining booth. Cocktails were great well worth the trip for a nice evening out.

Slick looking venue but lacks parking. Food was overpriced, paying top dollar city restaurant prices for bistro food. Steak was sold as 8+ marbling score, had virtually no marbling. Meals not all ready at the same time - two were delayed whilst one got cold. Waiter cleared our drinks in spite of telling them we were going to order dessert and come back (as there’s no table service to order or receive food). The light in our booth was broken so it was dark (unlike every other booth around us). Would not recommend or return unless there was some kind of 50% off food special, at which point it would be decent value.

This design and layout of this venue is fantastic. Couple this with great food and super helpful staff and you have a great casual dining experience. We had only heard about it from relatives and, like us, suggest you give it a go if you're looking for somehwere new to check out.

Had a wonderful time! Awesome ambience, top notch food, friendly staff. We recommend the poke bowl and steak bowl. The brownie was really yummy too! Great definitely value for money and we’re coming back for sure!

Kids liked the pizza from the kids meal and the fried chicken was good. Staffs were all very friendly and the atmosphere was clean and nice.

we had a very nice lunch in the bistro at the Governor Hotel. Just a couple of minor points. The chicken burger was a bit small when ordered by a 20-something male. Also, it would be good to have the specials better advertised. On the tables perhaps? We didn't know about them until one person from our table went up to order. Apart from that, all very nice :-)

The newly established bar was very good. The decor is top notch and the concealed booths are a nice touch. Food was tasty and the beers on tap were plentiful. Outdoor area is very expansive. A few small set backs - using the stairs to get to the roof top is not so straight-forward along with unfinished areas, and the prices are a bit high even for members. Parking is pretty limited for such a large establishment. Anticipating my return.

Nice atmosphere and great food. It highly recommended for friends/ company gathering. Only ground floor and top floor is open at the moment. Level 2&3 may open in the future.

Excellent staff service and delicious, mouth-watering food. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. Air conditioning was a plus since it was a very hot day. Maitre'd went above and beyond to help us celebrate our anniversary.

It is a nice venue with good food. I would recommend it to my colleagues and friends for a casual lunch or dinner. Easy access with onsite parking.

Food expensive and few vegetarian options. Unimpressed by the distinction between member prices and visitor prices and having to pay more for each dish. Wines on the list were not available. Overall an indifferent experience.

Buzzing atmosphere with reasonable pricing. A bit disappointed when we went to order dessert to find the kitchen was closed. Food was solid and good wine list.

My first visit to the Governor, and I look forward to becoming a regular. Food was great, the prices are reasonable, atmosphere pleasant and relaxed and the staff helpful and courteous. Only downside is the lack of parking, so best to leave the car behind and get the courtesy bus.

Great food (decent serving sizes) and atmosphere. Staff are really lovely to deal with and my group had a wonderful dinner thanks to the team at The Gov.

The Governor is excellent for group bookings. It is popular however, so to avoid missing out on getting a spot if you have a large group - book early!!

Always such fantastic food and atmosphere! In an area that lacks variety of places to eat (especially for work lunches), The Governor came at just the right time!

Bit pricey Don't like that you have to pay a surcharge just for paying with your card regardless if you're paying savings or credit Rooftop Bar should be open later than the downstairs bar 10.45pm is very early on a saturday night

Nice atmosphere and good service. I had a steak last time which was good.This time crispy skin pork, but personally preferred the beef steak. Cheese burger from kids menu was good (just patty and cheese), for my picky son who doesn't like greens...

We took our family there for dinner, and they were really impressed with the variety of drinks and food. They will definitely be back to try other delicious meals.

Good restaurant food with a buzzing environment and modern decor. It’s somewhat let down by inadequate parking arrangements that make it stressful before you even enter the premises.

Great food and service, love the roof top bar. Love the options of different rooms or types of service & food on offer. Have been there twice in Dec alone.

The staff are very accommodating and the food is lovely. Recommend more locals check it out. Asahi black on tap worth a try with the steak!

They had good service, friendly staffs and nice craft beers. My favorite dishes were pork belly roast and steak salad. Steak was cooked to perfection.

Food and service were excellent and the staff friendly with smiles on their faces. Restaurant section very clean and comfortable - table were not small so you didn't feel cramped. Air con was just the right temperature.

We got seated in a booth, it was great to have our own little area to catch up and enjoy dinner. The food was great! So much to choose from and it was all delicious. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and a great help to decide what to drink.

Just what Macquarie Park needs, great food, friendly staff and awesome drinks in a nice environment. We will be back again soon to sample more delights
