An excellent choice in Blackburn for my husband’s birthday lunch. The Food Republic did not disappoint. The only negative - the substantial mains course meant we were unable to eat even a small serving of dessert afterwards. We recommend the Syrian Chicken.

Very good meal (again). The Lamb Shank Risotto was extremely tasty and well cooked. Others in our group enjoyed their Calamari Salad as usual.

The plate presentation and taste is good. However was just upset with the kids fish and chips ordered as it tasted uncooked. But the staff was nice they did not charge for that dish. Good job.

We sat outside. The staff are always delightful the coffee is just the best you can get. We travel 20 minutes to have coffee, always friendly. The food is always exceptional. Lots of smiles and lots of laughter from the staff.

Great menu and quality of food. Good options and bigger portions. We will be returning soon. Only downside was that we were inside in a back corner which became very warm with little or no air.

My friend and I mentioned that we only wanted a small version of the Fish & Chips luncheon. At our waitress suggestion, we shared one beautiful, large serve of the best Fish & Chips with such a different but very fresh salad. It was like serving a platter of food onto our plates. Highly recommend.

Yummy food . Prompt service. I had the panne meatballs which were delicious but could have been a little hotter. My friend had the coleslaw and Japanese pancake. Always a winner . Coffee was hot and the wine welcoming. No wonder I am a regular customer. AND the Willingly split the bill . Thank you Joy
