Food lovely. Service was a bit disjointed as we were brought a dish we didn't order and had to get it remade. Also Chinese tea is $6.

the food was good, but too pricey. they also charge 2x casino dollars at night time. Atmosphere was good and the place was clean and tidy.

Well let’s see 1st up we where put on a 4 seater table there was only 2 of us, and the other people next to us where a group of 4 which they sat on a 2 seater table. 2nd after we ordered our meal the waitress set out the table and chipping the bowls before serving the meals, when the meals came out we had to wait for the rice which came 5 minutes after the meals came out. When we had to pY we felt pressured in giving a tip with the waitress hovering over us. The next day I woke up with a massive headache and dioreha Not happy.

Excellent Peking Duck. Great venue to visit before or after a show at Lyric Theatre. It is very popular so we suggest you book in advance

The food there was less quality and quantity than what we usually get at this restaurant, A rather disappointing dinner experience for our oversea visitors. The Century needs to improve on the quality of food and also serving sizes to be more consistent. Thank you.

Amazing food, which arrived at the table pretty quickly. Service was ok nothing to write home about but trust me the food makes up for it

Love this restaurant! Excellent food and service. We had a 2.30pm late lunch sitting and did not feel rushed at all (kitchen closed for fried food at 3pm).

surprisingly good compared to other Golden Century restaurants in Sydney. Service was impeccable and the food was good. The different areas allow privacy and I would entertain my guests there.

The service was excellent, we were going to a show at 8.00 but had plenty of time, the staff were very attentive, would definitely go back.

Nice restaurant food was ok I’ve had better Chinese but then again maybe we chose the wrong dishes. Quite expensive I guess you’re paying casino prices. Staff were friendly

very good food, however, they did bring the wrong dish and it took three waiters in succession​ before one could establish it was the wrong dish!

Overrated average Chinese restaurant, got seated next to clearing room with the constant clanging of plates and cutlery. Steamed dim sims were inedible, crispy skin chicken was mainly bones with no enough meat. Bill was $200 for two, mich better Chinese restaurants in the suburbs!

The hostess wasn't pleasant. The waiter did not look at us when we were ordering. Very short. Food was great. Service was not that great.

Very good service and wine was icy cold. Tables a bit close together on the window but good fast service before the show. Eat there always before going to the theatre.

We had yum cha before a show. Service was quick and food was delicious. It was reasonable priced too (for the casino). Biggest surprise was the radish cake - it was delicious (but not vegetarian).

Food is fine, if not exceptional in any way. Service was rushed and inefficient and there was pressure to order quickly. Its positive is the location if you are going to the theatre, as we were. But next time, I'll try somewhere else.

we went there for yum cha, but am disappointed for the quality of the food. The Sui mai tasted blend and seems to be reheated from microwave, it bit like those "dim sim" you bought from a corner store there is no "chung-fun" - steam rice noodles on the menu. I think they are more excited if you order sea food dish, rather than yum cha

We have often dined at Golden Century in Chinatown but this was first time at Century at The Star Casino. Same ownership so we had high expectations of food quality. First of all its outside the Star - park at the Star, walk past the Lyric theatre, go down the escalator to the street and there it is! They were packed with people waiting but held our table when we were 20min late so very impressed. Nice decor, great seafood selection and identical high quality to the original Golden Century. We were in and out in an hour to make our seats at the show. Very happy. Highly recommend the live pippies in XO sauce on fried noodle.

Everything is cooked in peanut oil. There is an allergen disclosure on the website but it doesn’t explicitly say that every single item is marinated and cooked in peanut oil. We had a birthday lunch here and I couldn’t eat anything due to my allergies. Not very pleasant. It needs to be noted somewhere that everything is cooked in peanut oil.

Great service, atmosphere and food. Price is on the expensive side but it was well worth it. Will definitely recommend to others and come back again.

Service was excellent. We really enjoyed the food. The menu was really rich. The waiters were very kind, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it to people who wants to have quality Chinese food.

Great food and attentive service - which is not always the case at a busy Chinese restaurant! Seafood, as always, is top quality and the other dishes are just as delicious!

The food was fantastic, the staff attentive overall very happy. We parked in the Star car park some more signage wood be helpful and remember the colour and number of were you parked

Really good food we didn't have any thing too expenaive and kept it to standard traditional dishes. Good lounge table and ambience. Service was average. Good wine. Price was about $100pp including wine md beers for 3 people.

The food is exceptional! The XO pippies are a must! Even the Yum Cha menu was absolutely delicious! I think one of the best in Sydney!

Great service and very yummy foods. Two of us ordered fried rice, crispy chicken, fillet steak Cantonese style and salt and pepper pork spare ribs for total of $95. Also if you have Citibank card you get free bottle of wine. Excellent value will definitely go back. Polly Sydney

The menu changed on what was on the website and the lunch menu that we were given had items that was unavailable. We felt very disappointed.

It's ok. Our table wasn't clean when we sat down there was rice on the table. The service was good and friendly. Food was really nice, we really enjoyed it.

Food was good and service excellent would happily eat there again. It was a busy night (Saturday) it was not noisy like a lot of busy Chinese restaurants

Food was excellent staff was very attentive the Peking duck was great the 4 heavenly vegetables were cooked perfectly in a beautiful light sauce the crabs in the tanks were enormous

they were very good and quick with service. They change your plate when it's full without asking. the foo was also excellent and I will come back again.

Nice Decor and lovely intimate spaces for small groups. Food was delicious as always. Service was good, no complaints but just not outstanding enough to rate a 6.

Service was quick and fair but nothing to write home about. The food was disappointing. The decor was below average, crowded and the toilets were dirty. I would never choose to go again. It was my mother’s 79 birthday meal and I wish I had chosen somewhere else!
