Great food, clean crisp fresh flavoursome. Fast service, excellent wine list. Good value for money . Our bill for 3 people was $130 and we were given a $20 voucher to spend in their gift shop, got some gorgeous small bowls

Thai Pothong was great. The food is absolutely yummy. Service is great and the quality of food and service has always been spot on. We love going there.

It was our team Christmas party and teh restaura nt gave us all bon bons for the table which was a great touch. Great food, very quick service and staff were very efficient and friendly.

Great food, quick service, friendly wait staff. This is the 2nd time I've been to Thai Pothong in Newtown and I've had a great experience both times.

The food and service was amazing. We went as a couple - but I think it's more suited to a group as the loud atmosphere doesn't really work for romance.

What a great lunch we had. The food was beautiful and the service was exceptional. If you could give the review a 10, i would, but 6 is the highest possible. Can't wait to come back. the duck salad was delicious, but so was everything we had.

Amazing service. Wonderful food. We had a few cocktails, 2 entrees and three mains between two of us. Downloaded their app and got 10% off the bill, it was $115 with the discount (I think over $50 of this was on drinks though). Whilst it is not the cheapest Thai around, we had a great experience, and enough leftovers to take home for lunch and dinner the next day.

Fantastic experience. Easily booked a table online for 2 however a friend tagged along but they acommodated a larger table with no hassle. The food was amazing and served promptly with no rushing. I thought the Banana Blossom salad was the outstanding dish. Food was good as always and good value for money. Service could have been better.

Mains were good. However, the dessert wasnt great. We had deep fried coconut and jackfruit ice cream. The pastry was a bit thick and the ice cream did not have much coconut flavor.

We had a delicious meal with great service and a great ambience. We’d definitely go back again! The fish curry dish we had was out of this world!

It was my son's 13th birthday. The staff couldn't have made him feel more special. We had younger children there that they were so patient and accomodating with. Really lovely experience. Definately go back.

Fantastic food and the service was exceptional. I would definitely go back there again. The prawns and scallops were fantastic and I want to try and make the yummy BBQ lamb cutlets myself.

Went there for lunch, found it to be very kid friendly. Staff were lovely and accommodating and the food was delicious, especially the BBQ lamb.

It is quite remarkable that one of the busiest Thai restaurants in Sydney is also the best. To maintain the high quality and extremely high level of service despite being full every night (that is, run off their feet) is amazing. The staff are awesome and always find a way to seat you as fast as possible. Outstanding.

The service was very good - the staff are very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent - we had the red duck curry and chicken pad se ew. Receiving the gift shop dollars was great for our friend from Melbourne who was able to buy her two children a little Thai gift. The only feedback is that the restaurant is so busy it can be hard to hear each other speak.
