Great food and service. Vegan menu has lots of options. Staff are friendly and efficient. Bathrooms are clean. Great for mixed vegan and non vegan groups.

Great service, great food. Looked after the kids especially. We used to go there many years ago, nothing has changed. Still one of the best food experiences in Sydney.

Loved the food..had thai ice tea at the end and it tasted amazing..the staff were very kind and they went out of the way to make sure that my cousins bday was special. Would definetely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try out thai food.

Constantly good service regardless of if you are a large group or just the family. The food is of a high standard and we Particularly enjoy the separate menu for gluten free options. My daughter is ceoliac, so it brings our family great comfort that they can guarantee the food we eat is safe.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and I am so glad I did. My partner and I decided this would be the place to have dinner to celebrate our 3rd anniversary for we both have a love for Thai food. We booked for 7pm on a Saturday night and considering how busy it was, we got in pretty fast! We ordered promptly, the wine, cocktails and food all came within 10 minutes of ordering and it was all sublime. The staff were all extremely friendly too and made the overall experience even better. I can’t really recommend this enough and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Best Thai in Sydney.

Excellent food with great customer service. My family is vegetarian and their selection is phenomenal. One of the best starters that I have had every time we go is the tofu on the betel leaves.

I marvel at Thai Pothing’s consistency. Perhaps 20 years since I was last here on a capacity Saturday night such as this one, the staff remained wonderfully polite and efficient, the food reliable.

A great Thai restaurant with great food. It's a big place and was packed, so it was quite noisy. The service is great, though the waiters constantly fill up your water and even spoon rice onto your plate, which I find very annoying - once I have my food, I want to be left alone. The food comes out very quick, though they didn't all come at the same time.

Busy restaurant. The food is nice but the portion is smaller than expected. The dessert - Mango sticky rice is really good and well presented.

Had a great night here, everything we asked for was no problem, the staff were friendly and polite. We went for a birthday celebration, and they "noticed" the exchange of gifts and brought balloons, sang Happy Birthday, and gave the birthday person a beautiful small gift and dessert with candles etc. Would definitely return, and recommend this for any family occasion, might be a little noisy for a romantic dinner for two, but still a very nice option.

Tasty but standard Thai food, nothing revolutionary. If you want reliable, reasonably priced Thai food, this place is great. The service is excellent and the fact it’s BYO is great - helps keep the cost down. It’s a huge restaurant and can get a little noisy when full.

The food was delicious as usual and the serves are very generous. The atmosthere is very friendly and the staff provide a very personalised service.

Food here was lovely, however service was not as good as when we have been before. Would still definitely recommend, it’s a bit more expensive than other Thai restaurants but worth the money. Really good food!

Thai Pothong is consistently excellent. Different to other thai restaurants in delivering different dishes, packed full of flavour, like their Betel Leaf Prawns or Barramundi Curry. Service is always excellent & very personable. Great for groups or for smaller parties too. I am a regular there now.

Food & staff were great but we hated where we were seated in behind the wall which was very depressing. otherwise we would have had a reasonable night i think.
