Thai Pothong - Newtown

Was our first time at Thaipothong and we are coming back soon. Everything was perfect Really good food, fast service, reasonable price. Is a busy restaurant but definitely you feel like Thailand

Great service, great taste. Lovely atmosphere. Not too much of a wait at all. Food is a little pricey but it’s good. Lots of birthday celebrations going on. Quite a popular place.

A great meal, separate gluten free menu, absolutely great service, Very attentive and polite. Excellent portion size. Thoroughly recommend you give it a try some day.

Great place to get some good food, relax and they are especially friendly to families with children. If I were staying more in Sydney, we would visit this place a few more times.

good food, clean, lovely restaurant. attentive service, no waiting, given the wrong order twice, so not that attentive as to not get the tables order correct. however, this was a minor setback. Rice pp too expensive. Can buy a whole,bag of rice for the cost of a little bit of rice for two that was served in a small alumimium type container.

THai Pothong is SERIOUSLY the best Thai restaurant in Sydney. Service is perfect and food is amazing. My husband and I have been coming for 7 years and it's always THE BEST.

good 2 make a book here, it is a brilliant restaurant, i do love the flavor with a little cream in curry. it a great asian food restaurant and the red duck curry, yummy!

Very busy and obviously popular restaurant. Can be a little loud in the restaurant, but staff remain attentive and helpful. Great flavors and wide selection of dishes available on the menu.

We had an enjoyable lunch at Thai Pothong , chicken satay sticks and tofu with 3 sauces for starters followed by barramundi curry and spicy noodles with pork. All dishes were very enjoyable and service was very efficient. BYO option is a handy addition.
