Another great meal, Thai Pothong never disappoints, top class food, friendly service and the usual vibrant buzz on a Friday evening. Always wise to book ahead.

Great food and great atmosphere. We did share a menu as a group and every dish was delicious especially “flambé seafood”, value for money, recommend to friends and family.

Restaurant was so busy on a Saturday night but we were seated right away. Best Thai I’ve had in ages, excellent service. Will definitely be back again.

Thai Pothong never disappoints. The fresh ingredients and flavours always draw you back. The service is always friendly and professional. While othe larger Thai restaurants have gone by the wayside Thai Pothong continues to impress.

The service here is always impeccable. They have a great range of vegan options and the food always comes out quickly and tastes amazing. Definitely on my favourites list.

Great restaurant with a fantastic kitchen serving Michelin star quality dishes. Always wonderful service. We've been here for years and have always enjoyed the food. Would recommend some of their specialties like the betel leaf prawn, Chili steamed snapper and their flambe seafood.

Great Italian food, very low prices for very delicious and nutritious meals. Definitely recommend the bruschetta as well as the pasta with pesto, pine nuts and chicken. Very small restaurant, with only a few tables so make sure to come on time.

We've been patrons of Thai Pothong for years. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. One suggestion for improvement. Perhaps it might be time to shake up the menu a bit?

Thank he best Thai in town. Plus vibrant Newtown, ice cream and coffee shops for after ... we are always coming back. The food is The best, very friendly staff and beautiful interior. It may get a bit noisy on Friday night as it is packed , but great wine selection compensate that . HIGHLY recommended!!!

We booked Thai Pothong for a birthday dinner and had a memorable experience. The food was nice and served promptly. We were most impressed by the service - the staff were attentive and friendly. They organised the birthday cake, took complimentary photos and also provided birthday gifts to my friends. Definitely recommend!

Despite booking online, we had to wait a while to be seated as it was surprisingly busy on a Sunday night, but both food and service were great.

The food is so-so. There is better Thai food out there - especially given the price and portion sizes at Thai Pothong. The waiters are very kind though, and service is prompt.

Thai Pothong has high quality customer service and consistently amazing Thai dishes, I couldn’t recommend them higher! Even with a full/busy restaurant they don’t leave you waiting long for your food, and getting to visit the gift shop with Thai Pothong dollars is always a lovely added bonus.

Amazing service! It’s usually difficult to blow my socks off but on this occasion I was so impressed. I took my mum out who was visiting from interstate. Despite how busy it was, we were treated like we were the only people there and attended to without hesitation. Definitely will be back!

Nice food with reasonable price. It was a birthday dinner so we revived free birthday ice-cream and a little gift too. Excellent service from all staff
