An excellent Mother's day lunch. The banana flower salad is very interesting & clearly very popular. All dishes were well executed and service was prompt and efficient. Not cheap but good value given the quality of the food. This institution has plenty of life to go!

I really love this place. Sumptuous food, my son love the choo chee snapper. Excellent service. Very well mannered staff. We will definitely dine again.

I invited my wife for mother’s day to the Thai restaurant in Newtown and we were very disappointed everything was cold octopus cold panang curry cold etc.

I had my birthday celebration there and they made me feel so special. This place was excellent . The staff are so nice and wonderful. The restaurant was packed and we didn’t wait for food. The food is delicious.

The best Thai food anywhere. Wonderful staff, always friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is happy. Try a table at the front of the restaurant looking out onto King Street for an added treat. Close to Newtown station.

The Food was excellent, we had the curry puffs as a starter. My husband had Penang chicken curry and I had a chicken cashew nut stir fry for mains. We also had mango sticky rice for dessert. The staff were attentive and polite.

Great food... We ordered a lot of food because it's best to try a little of everything since Thai cuisine is so varied with a range of flavour, textures and spice levels. Try the chili scallop, betel leaf prawns, flambe seafood, banana blossom salad, massaman lamb and BBQ pork. That's just a start to their extensive but delicious menu. In addition... Their service is consistently professional, courteous, friendly and efficient.

Food, as always was faultless. Service was impeccable. Thai Pathong has won numerous awards and it's easy to understand why. A big thank you to Nic and his team. The dedication and passion of all the staff makes it my number one choice for Thai cuisine in Sydney. Congratulations and well done.

Everything was perfect. We were here yesterday night (Sunday night for the birthday) of my friend, and the food and the service were excellent! Indeed the food is really really good and it is not really expensive for the qulity. It was really a good moment.

Service was excellent! Very attentive friendly staff and always happy n smiling. Good serving portions for group sharing. Only thing food was a little sweet as a general to cater to the local aussies who may not be able to take on the the typical Thai level of sourish and spicyness but will definitely go back again!

Amazing food really good service! The restaurant is so busy on a Saturday night but they still maintain an excellent service regardless of this. The staff are really friendly and I would recommend the banquets at the back of the menu which are such good value, you get so much food for the price. Also the cocktails are great

Cocktails were quite good. Food not so much. We had chicken and beef and the meat tasted strange. We all ended up with diorrhea throughout the night. The food isnt fresh. I was really excited to to eat here based on the reviews and it was a let down Im afraid.

Amazing restaurant to celebrate birthday with family. Need to be aware about spice food as some plates the info is not so clear and could be very hot for some.

We went on our anniversary and we had an amazing time. The staff put up balloons, took photos and gave us gifts. It was so thoughtful.
