Very pleasant and reasonably priced dining. Service was great and the food was delicious. Good range of Asian classics. The desserts were not very interesting.

My best friend and I had a lovely dining experience at Taxi Boat. There is so much variety and choice, and a fabulous selection of wines as well. Highly recommended.

Great food and fast service. The currys are fantastic and so was the teriyaki chicken. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and very convenient location. Highly recommend.

As always food was delicious unfortunately the service was poor. I always feel when dinning out the focus is on bloody uba eats clients. when really it should be on dinners who have made the effort to come out dine at your restaurant. ( Sorry just saying )

Enjoyable with three friends and tasty food. We chose the Thursday special which included an entre and main course of your choice. We shared main courses which included Red Duck Curry, Mongolian Beef, Green chicken Curry and Chilli Prawns. All were delicious. The main concern of the evening was the service was poor mainly slow and in attentive.

Cosy restaurant with hot, fresh and delicious Asian food! Gluten free options are plentiful which is always appreciated. Spicy Kung Pao Chicken a must! Will definitely return.

Terrific service and fantastic dishes with most most delicious Pad Thai we’ve ever tasted. Also recommend the duck and the rockling dishes. Can’t wait to go back

The service was friendly and efficient and the food tasty. The beef in black bean sauce however was a bit disappointing and the meat chewy. My previous experience at Taxiboat has always been remarkable.

A very friendly welcome when we arrived, enough time to study the interesting menu before ordering, a delicious meal which arrived within a reasonable time and an efficient and pleasant waiter made our experience at Taxiboat one that we will certainly want to repeat soon.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very nice and I have Coeliac Disease , staff were knowledgable and there were plenty of options. I would recommend Taxiboat and will definitely return.

Delicious food, all courses were great especially the duck curry and the dumplings. Service was ok, and the ambience nothing special but the food is worth trying.

Excellent meal with great service. Interesting selection of wines with a very special Spanish Aria sparkling. I would recommend Taxiboat for anyone looking for a mix of Asian Cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere.

The food was delicious. Could have been more salt and pepper on salt and pepper squid. However, we weren't greeted at the door, the drinks took ages to come (they'd run out of ice apparently) and no staff were responsible for any one things = inefficient. They said that they were understaffed but that's not our problem. There wasn't any background music so it lacked atmosphere, particularly when we first arrived.

The service was fabulous and the food was absolutely delicious. Their homemade fish cakes were the best I've ever had. Already looking forward to our next meal there.

We have been to TaxiBoat probably 6/8 times - always after going to a movie across the road at the old Westgarth Cinema. It's not just handy though, it's delicious and fairly priced. Always a good menu variety although we keep coming back for their yummy fishcakes and always have the fried rice with another main - try the rockling! Excellent wines by the glass, the staff treat us like family, the owner/chef is an absolute character - we have never walked out of there unhappy. Paul.

We absolutely love this place. Food is very nice an d full of flavour. Service is fast and very friendly. Also the ambience of the place is great, not too much noice so you can hear yourself speak when you are dining with friends.

We had delicious food (great variety of dishes, all beautifully prepared) and great service. And good ambiance, not loud so it was possible to have a conversation. We will definitely go back!

Food was fantastic, we had the banquet and all the dishes were very tasty. I would say some of them were a little on the small side, we had the large banquet and we could have a had a little more food. Service was extremely efficient but not very friendly, a smile goes a long way. Overall happy but could improve a couple of little things for an all round experience.

Overall our experience was positive. That is, the food and the service was good. It just was not an extra-ordinary experience that I could rave about.

Food was terrific as usual but the lighting in the main room was far too bright. Normally it's a cosy lamp lit place but tonight it was all lights blazing. Minor issue easily remedied but the lighting matters.

Excellent food and friendly service. Good range of GF options as well. Salt and pepper squid was a winner. We will be back for more.
