Tataki Japanese Restaurant

We were a party of eleven and were seated in the back. We enjoyed great food and efficient service. A local favorite as the black miso cod is amazing!

A ver busy night so not sure what it's like for regulars, 2 missed dishes that we had to ask for. Good food would like to try the tonkatsu curry.

Excellent food, fresh. Presentation great, service was exceptional. I'd been looking for a new restaurant for a while, looks like I found it. I'll be back with the rest of my friends. Well done Tataki.

Lovely meal except sadly for us the Yakiniku steak was a bit tough & tasteless. Everything else- service etc. was terrific, fresh, prompt & polite.

Sashimi was lovely and fresh, kind service by waitress staff but a little understaffed - they were run off their feet. A little outdated the decor but that doesn’t matter much. Authentic Japanese.

Consistently excellent! Great service, great food, great casual environment. Perfect for a healthy feed that’s beautifully presented and completely fresh and delicious! The crispy soft shell crab is a must!!

Sensational in so many ways! Spent $90 for 2 people, including wine, Fresh and flavoursum with perfect service. Best kept secret in Elsternwick..... oh, best to book..

Top notch food and service! The sushi was wonderfully fresh and the eggplant entree was out of this world. Bit pricey but worth it for a treat.

Beautiful fresh food served quickly by friendly and efficient staff. Been there 4 times in 10 days!! Love it and would go every night if I could.
