Sunnyside Tavern

We booked a table for four people on the website which the website was easy to navigate. On arrival the wait staff were very friendly and obliging. I had the pork cutlet with apple and maple glazed sauce. It was the most perfectly cooked pork cutlet I’ve ever had, all the meals were large in proportion and all cooked to the satisfaction of the diners I was with. I would recommend the Sunnyside Tavern to anybody wishing to have an above average pub meal that is reasonably priced.

We often eat here on days the Knights play and usually get good meals. I enjoyed the gf option of the pulled brisket burger but my daughter and husband had the crumbed lamb cutlets. The cutlets were quite small, thin, dry and overcooked. Probably won’t get them again. The chips were great.

Good food and good prices. Perhaps it was unusual but we had lots of space and it wasn’t noisy so we had a great catch up and ended up staying way longer than planned .

i was a patron on Tuesday night 2/4 , i have never been to a bistro or restaurant that has ran out of cutlery?? we had to wait 10mins with food , until the forks arrived ?

Nice clean venue. Very pleasant staff eager to keep us happy and best of all food was great.

ordered steak and asked for it to be very well done but had to send it back twice as it still wasn’t cooked properly staff friendly though

A lunch today was a very pleasant experience for all 5 of us considering that no one had been here before except myself. Our meals were very nice from the daily specials and the waitress was very helpful.

Great place to go to! Loved the food was very delicious, only downside was the table ordering system not working! Young man that was serving us was very polite!

We changed tables so we could be near the kids play area, but nothing was a problem to the staff.

Really easy to book online, yummy food and quick service

The music in the dining area was to loud and was hard to hear what the others in my party of 7 was saying as we had lunch.

Trivia was fun. Staff very friendly. Schnitzel was a bit dry and hard. Surprised to find the schnitzel special didn't include a sauce - this could have been made clearer in the advertising.

Lots of good quality food, and quick service even though they were extremely busy.

I would like to be able to indicate where I would like to sit when I book. We were placed outside in the heat but, on request we were able to be moved inside.

Was a little noisy to start as there were lots of kids (eat free Monday) but they left about 7.15 and we enjoyed our meal without noise. Staff we attentive and generally lovely and did not rush us even though we were last ones there. Food very nice, will go again

Stuck us outside even though lots of inside tables. Split us into 2 tables yet table for 10 inside??

Steak cooked well but could not get veg with any meals, just chips/salad. Quite expensive for what was on the plate.

An ok experience. Some meals were pleasant but some average.

Food unfortunately was very average. There was a function on and we were seated on the other side of a curtain from the function and the noise levels prevented us even being able to have a conversation. No check in or offer to relocate us.

Food was fresh and tasty with prompt service. Staff were friendly and kind.

My meal was good ( I had the pumpkin salad. ) But my husband had the seafood linguine which he asked for mild chilli. He could not eat it. Way too much chilli, to the point of tears. He did receive a refund though. Other meals in our group were good.

Emailed through the week to see if we could prebook our meals due time specifics, was told yes thats fine & to be specific with order. Turn up and they "apparently" only just got my email, but was sent in the Early AM, It was a farewell for a staff member, was so disappointing for us all.

Good but kitchen closed too early for us. Atmosphere nice
